I have been wondering about the sequence of events in Revelation 14 Revelation 13 ends with the mark of the beast Revelation 14 starts with the mark of the lamb and the 144,000 -virgins spiritually pure - didn't take the mark of the beast first fruits redeemed from the earth (first resurrection) verse 6-7 Angel proclaims everlasting gospel - worship God (hour of judgement has come) verse 8 2nd angel - Babylon has fallen, nations have drunk wine of fornication verse 9-10 3rd angel - If you worship beast (receive mark) drink of the wine of wrath of God (judgement) with fire and brimstone (lake of fire) in the presence of lamb and holy angels verse 12 Then it says that Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus verse 13 Voice says Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord henceforth, rest from there labours/works follow them verse 14-15 harvest (second resurrection??) Does this sequence relate to 1Pe 4:5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. I really think that Gods mercy does not fail once someone dies. However everyone is accountable and will be judge for their actions.

I believe that the harvest is the raptura event of the souls that are gathered from the ends of the heavens and the ends of the earth who were found worthy to come with The Lord Jesus in the first resurrection to reign together with Christ Jesus in The Millennium for one thousand years as priests and that the clusters of grapes of wrath are then Judged with desolation decrees as written in revelation for those that take the mark of the beast. Those that stand the test of the trial of the mark of the beast from the earth of the false worldly prophet known as the antichrist will be given the honor of being counted among those who arise in the first resurrection of the dead. The sainst of God Most High will endure the war on the saints trial of the dragon throught the institution of the number of the name of the beast from the earth for 3 1/2 or 42 months or 1260 days plus 30-75 days. Then desolation decrees as written in revelation will be poured out upon the followers of the false prophet antichrist worldwide leader. The will be condemned forever with no possibility of repentance in the fire upstairs in the new Heaven that God will create before the Holy Angels of God. The Fury of God will torment them forever and ever.

ORIGINAL: meerkat verse 14-15 harvest (second resurrection??) When you see something repeated in a book or a passage, look for parallel construction. In Revelation, chapters 13 through 16 are one parallel account (to others in Revelation) describing just the one 'seven.' Chapter 13 is the first half up through the midpoint and it then gives the reason the Great Tribulation is so Great. Chapter 14 starts off with the Day of the Lord and describes the events which happen in conjunction with the sixth Seal. Rev 14:17-20 describe some of the Wrath which associated with the second half of the Day of the Lord which would take you into the seventh Seal, first Trumpet timeframe from the overall chronology of the Seals. Chapter 15 fast forwards towards the end of the one 'seven' and aptly describes what was omitted from the Seal chronololgy: the third Woe. Now the world gets a taste of the depth of God's Wrath by having much of His Judgments repeated, except this time they are total. At the end of 16, we are at the same end as in the conclusion of chapter 11 in Revelation. (Chapter 12 contains two parallel accounts each roughly 2000 years long.)
