Am new here. Am looking and searching for a place I can call home. My parents divorced when i was 5. My mom remarried and I went to a Southern Baptist church with them and believe I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour at that time. Well, I didnt get along with my stepdad so was sent to live with my biological father (self proclaimed preacher, alcoholic and molester) It was then that my view of God shatterred. I was in therapy for years dealing with the fall out of that had difficulty holding down a job, was diagnosed as Bipolar. Even after therapy I continued to make really bad choices. When I hit bottom and had no where else to turn I begged God to take me back and He met me with open arms and I have come to realize He never left me; I left Him. Since renewing my spirit and beginning to depend again on the Lord, He has blessed me tenfold since. I have a decent job with decent benefits. I have two wonderful dogs that bring me much joy. I have been visiting other christian sites in search of home. A place where I am accepted and loved and not judged. I want to continue walking the path and to run the good race... Amen
