Hello! I believe we need to lay out the guidelines concerning support threads. We have gotten so many lately! A Support thread is for a specific purpose, to discuss and obtain support about a certain issue. It is not a chat thread and should not be treated as such. For example, in a breastfeeding support thread, one should only discuss issues surrounding breastfeeding i.e. nipple shields, milk supply and colostrum. One should not use the thread to discuss other things that are happening in their life, such as a car breaking down, buying a house or other random, everyday details. The thread should be positive. We do understand that within a support thread one will vent about the frustrations of those that oppose their parenting choices but it should not be used to complain or air grievances about other forums members. The military wives is a great example of a working support thread. They are all going through the same thing and helping each other out, but they don't bash or complain about those who aren't military wives. They aren't drawing us against them lines in the sand like so many of the other "support" threads. Sincerely, Kath
