for understanding....
I have read the bible many times in my youth... I went to Catholic school and for years wanted to be a nun... although I never understood what it truly meant, I think I wanted to be a nun because I watched a movie (or show) with Loretta Young and she played a nun and gave her life for her faith. I always loved that idea and had this total love for God. I became a teen and that all went away, even though I believed and always prayed I lived my life and was so much in the world. I became born again in 1999 and have been reading the bible every day. I still have trouble with the meaning but sometimes I so totally get the meaning, I have periods of Understanding... although they go away at some point I get them back and I figure if I read the bible every day for the next 200 years I may understand it all.. :-) ... I sure hope so...

Father,
Thank for giving Linda the desire to understand the Bible, your Word. Please speak to her through the Bible and help her be in contact with you in prayer as she reads and studies the Bible. May she have a future of walking with you. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we pray for Linda. Amen.

Lord please continue to give Linda everything she needs to understand the bible, let her see it clearly and let nothing block or hinder that. Keep her mind clear and I ask for protection over
her as she continues to read everyday and learn about you and keep in the bible everyday..

Lord,
Thank you that Linda is pursuing you.
Give her wisdom so she will understand what she's reading in the Bible.
Let her have strength as she uses her Bible every day to learn about you.
Wrap her in your loving arms.

Father, thank You for helping linpraise to understand just what You want her to learn each day. Thank You for blessing her with a desire to study Your word. Draw her closer to You each day, and use her to Your glory. In Jesus precious name. Amen

1 Corinthians 13:12 says that, For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
We all have those feelings...but this verse is such an encouragement.
Lord, help Linda, help us all, to just lean back on you, in faith, in all things.
