The Computers 101 / ABC Reunion Thread is a combination of two long-running, ancient threads (in terms of forums threads), the Computers 101 thread (where the technologically clueless could seek help from other singles) and the Agape Bubble Cafe thread (which itself started as a flirting practice thread but evolved into a comfy place to hang out and share our lives with one another).
This thread is open to everybody to come in and share your joys, sorrows, frustrations, challenges, and elations. In short, come on in, settle into a latte, sip on a comfy couch, and share your life. 
Be prepared to find some posters from way back in the 20th Century as well as some newer (yet still forums experienced) faces.

Is Josie going to help you cook, or she just the quality control officer? How cute about her discovering the toilet? How close is she to getting potty trained?

I really can't smell anything. My allergies have been horrendous the past couple of weeks. One of the secretaries here says that there's a theory that Hurrican Ike brought in a lot of allergens from the coast. I think I believe it, because this is the pits!! I'm getting ready to run out for lunch and get some more allergy meds. I ran out yesterday. If this doesn't get better soon I may go to a dr to see if they can do anything better than claritin. Blah. But I would LOVE to smell fall. I'd love to smell (almost) anything a this point...

I have been crazy busy ... dealing with plumbing issues (ick) and life in general.
Hope Ruthie, Tracy and all the others find their way here .... Poor Tracy, seems like she always finds us just as the old thread is retired ...

Tammy - funny about Josie discovering the toilet! You might have to put a childproof something-or-other on it before she throws objects into it.
Trish - bummer about the car.
Tina - I haven't gotten cool enough to wear a sweater outside. I suppose in the mornings it could be that cool, but if I'm doing anything more than heading to the car, I'm walking a good distance, so I get all warmed up - no sense wearing something heavy! Today it was about, oh, 55 degrees or so outside when I walked 1.5 miles. I had on a long sleeved, lightweight shirt. I still was sweating like crazy.  But hey - the leaves are all changing, so at least it's pretty outside!

It was 3 years ago today that Kevin and I married. (We met here on the singles forum, too.)  Tonight I'm making one of his favorite meals (and one I can't stand); I'll have some stew I made over the weekend. I also made 3 mini chocolate pies, about pot pie size. It's fewer servings (6) than a full pie (8) so we'll be able to finish them off faster, before the crust gets too soggy.
So yeah.
The job hunt is still going nowhere. I did meet a lady at Curves last week that recommended I go to Kelly Services (a temp agency like Pro Staff or whatever). She said that that is how she got her job - that the company she works for doesn't hire directly at all but only hires through Kelly. So one of these days I'll head into the nearby city to the Kelly office and see what they can do for me.
Other than that, I can't think of much else to report.

Not from forums - am sometime in Aug, I believe. She WAS in Beaumont, TX, but her place got hit by Ike, so she's 2 hours to the north. But, joy can provide more details - I'm just going off the info in her PFY thread.

i think fall might be my favorite season ... the leaves are just SO colorful in this area ... any other new englanders herE?

If you feel led to pray, please pray that we get a new car/vehicle. We don't have the finances to buy a car, other than a tiny toy car.
She's also intrigued with the handle. She'll start to push it down and it makes a tiny water flowing noise, she looks all around with a bewildered look on her face, then she takes her hand off the handle. It's pretty funny! Okay, so it takes little to amuse me.
