When Jesus wrote in Hebrews He thought about Abraham no doubt. Especially, when He said Abram believed when he really had nothing to believe on except God.And God said that it was counted as righteousness for him. What is faith? Faith is things hoped for but you can't see them, yet. I am unemployed and I have days I wonder what God is doing, but I put my trust in Him. What is faith? Faith is hoping for something but you don't see it yet. I pray about everything. In these times sometimes we must step out and believe for everything. Have you seen a mustard seed? Yet, Jesus said if you have faith as a mustard seed, ask and you will receive. Wonder what would happen if we would use faith in every problem. There's no telling what God would do. Why not step out and trust Him? I am. He has been there when I had no way to have what I needed. What is your faith story?

my latest faith story is with prayer...and how if we began to ask, and ask things in His Will...we began to receive...:D

Welcome to this community! I've studied the book of Hebrews, and it is one of my favorites. I am refreshed by your post, because I'm also unemployed. Faith, trust, and belief are all hand in hand to me. I haven't seen a mustard seed, but I don't do much cooking. I think I've hear that it is smaller than a sesame seed, which I've seen plenty of. I've been out of my comfort zone and working on a new comfort zone for a while now. I'm not comfortable thinking Jesus wrote any of the Bible, though, no matter what zone I'm in. Did you just mean that Jesus is quoted in the book somewhere referring to Abraham? One of the things that always stands out to me about that book is that no one claimed it as theirs, and there's seven and many others that are believed could have written it, and most likely before A.D. 70.
Thanks for sharing the reflections on those verses. I will look them up tomorrow.
