Hi raspberry:

I don't understand the concept of purchasing movies. I am curious as to why you buy them.

I guess I don't understand because the most times I've watched any movie is 3...usually once does the trick quite well.

How many times might you watch a film?

The 300 Spartans

It's a movie I saw first on the TV with my father back in the 70s. I've seen it half a dozen times since, and have wanted to see it again since I first saw ads for 300.

I would like to own Rush Hour & Spiderman series.

I couldn't tell you how many times I have seen the Rush Hours and they are still funny.

Finally picked up The Wizard of Oz. After thousands of viewings when my niece was little, I finally go the urge to see it again (she's 16 now).

The Rat Race

I choose to buy movies when they go on sale at the rental outlets for 4 for 20 dollars.

My family of three can't GO to a movie for twenty bucks!

I reserve theater viewing for really special releases that I absolutely cannot wait to see and want to experience in a theatre equipped with surround sound.

How many times can I watch a movie? I dunno. I've been known to watch those that I really like so many times that I know all of the dialogue.

(Princess Bride, Steel Magnolias) And Yet... I still watch them at times.

Last movie I think I bought was Batman: Gotham Knight... it turned out to be ok but wasn't anything special. I think I would have been better off buying the first season of Batman: The Animated Series but oh well...

I just bought the whole series of the TV show ALF. On ebay of course. My 14 year old loves it. Its a silly show. But the kids respsect their parents. Nothing like what you see on TV today. They even show them going to church!!

Airplane I and II

Clearance bin at WalMart.

I am always on the look out for the old movies they don't show on TV often: not long ago I bought Arsenic and Old Lace. :)
