Hopefully it's been a long long time since you've had that particular regret.

If it has, I'm impressed that you've been happy with all your purchases since 1977.

I've pretty much left clothing purchases to my BW since then.

You are a very wise man.

Hey, what is a BW? I think of Best Western and that doesn't quite fit.

Beautiful Wife.

The first forum I ever participated on some 8-9 years ago used "dh" and "dw" to mean dumb husband and dumb wife. I still think that when I see those abbreviations. So, I use BW.

I don't really regret them, but admit they weren't the wisest purchases at the time.

The last car I had. Piece of expensive junk

Bathing suits that look alright in the store but different when you get home and they aren't refundable.

Two nights' lodging at Thriftlodge. The cricket in the room kept me awake and the place was rundown and shabby.

Alice Cooper's song Desperado. It was right above the Linda Rondstat one I wanted.

Ah, yes.

After my last mistake, I tried correcting it this time by going up a size. Fail. And I'm left with the uncomfortablenesses.

An HD switcher box on eBay - not for the item itself, but because I accidentally paid from the wrong account (which I've been trying to close so was empty of funds!) and ended up owing the bank twice as much as my item was in overdraft fees.

Lunch at Red Robin last week--with a tip it was $30 for two of us--just for glorified burgers & fries. Totally not worth it.

Oh, I totally love Red Robin. The burgers are HUGE and the fries are the best. Now, Johnny Rockets is a different story....

I like Red Robin AND Johnny Rockets. But Johnny Rockets is so expensive because you have to buy everything seperately.

My favorite is In-N-Out.

Red Robin is, however, expensive. But then again, I'm in Cali. Everything's expensive.

What? Man, that's awesome!

To contribute: Not an item, but a service. I paid way too much in an off-guard moment, to some tree service outfit going through the neighborhood. Just didn't have all my mental faculties up and running that day.

Last month . . .

an HP color laser printer . . . that would have been absolutely fabulous had I known that it wasn't Mac-compatible.
