The most dangerous? I dunno... But ranking right up there would be when I rode with a guy that decided to drive over 100 mph at 1AM... True it was a country road, but I think I was grabbing the "oh crud" bar the entire time...

Hmmm. Hitch-hiking 1000 miles when I was 15?

Getting a ride in the city during the bus strike when I was in university from a stranger who didn't take me where I wanted to go and wanted to hire me as a prostitute?

Going to the home of a new boyfriend who spent a chilling five minutes removing the sharp knives in the case just beside me and silently stroking their blades for no apparent reason? (I've thought afterward that he may have been testing my mettle. I must have passed because no harm came to me but I wasn't certain of that while he was doing it.)

Walking down the highway to the city with my little sister when I was three?

considering I'm 18 I haven't had a lot of time to build up a repetoire of things, but I'm pretty reckless.

Dragged my bff on the way to sonic (he was unaware of this)
Passed four cars in a no passing zone. Barely made it.
Sat in a brown recluse spider gathering place to level some stone. Nearly got bit. A lot.
Got pulled on rollerblades down a hill by my brother on his bike, who was as interested in seeing how fast I could go as I was.
Ate something unlabled at a Chinese buffet. *shudder*

But the most dangerous of all... I've let myself fall in love.

I lived most of my childhood in fear for my life on a daily basis, so I grew up to be not much of a risk taker. I used to occasionally drive way, way, way too fast on freeways.

Jumped out of a 12 foot high tree house.
Dove from the top of a 7 foot high slide into a 6 foot deep pool.
Took the governor out of a mini bike engine so we could get it to go faster (timed it @ 40mph with a friend's car). Rode said mini bike without a helmet.

Hey! You reminded me of something dangerous that I did! Thirty-seven years ago, while six months pregnant, I scooted over to allow my obviously-outraged husband, who had just knocked his golf ball into the water, drive the golf cart. I had no idea golf carts could turn a circle that fast, and he had no idea that I, with my big, round belly, would fall out of the cart and roll across the green!

which made me think of my wonderful, loving best bud Jared throwing me into a leech-infested pond.

I made him pick them off.

That ain't dangerous, that's plain crazy!!

Got behind the wheel after nine scotches in a little over an hour. Stopped on the way home for a hot dog with sauerkraut. You can probably imagine the results.

Edited to keerect spelling mistook.

No, but Pat's angry look was replaced with a wide-eyed "What did i do to her and our child" look. I was laughing so hard that he had to help me up! It was hilarious! Poor Pat -- he didn't think so. I drove the rest of the way.

Eeeeewwwww!

And you reminded me of something. Not something dangerous that I did but something dangerous that my first husband did.

Our first child had been weaned off the bottle and had been drinking from a cup for some months. One night, we had a special drink at the dinner table, all of us sharing it, and my husband wanted more. I told him we had drank it all. He noticed that our daughter was through eating, so he said he would just drink whatever she had left in her cup.

Now, I was a stay-at-home-mom. I apparently knew things he didn't know! So I responded brightly "Uh -- OKAY!" and got her cup, placing it before him.

He picked it up, almost had it to his mouth, when he stopped and stared inside. I nearly fell off the chair, laughing. That was the night our family learned the word floaties, and the meaning of it!

It's a toss-up between doing 170 mph on a motorcycle or riding a 2000 lb bull with no help or safety equipment. Fun stuff.

Drove down I-59 in North Alabama in my brothers '68 Dodge Charger with the speedometer needle well past the 160 mph mark. I was 18 at the time and much more stupid than I am now.

Driving on the I95 bridge in Virginia a friend of mine leaned halfway out the window and got a cigarette from a lady in a car we were passing. Got her number too. Goofball that he was (and is)...
