Apart from the Lord - which Biblical OT or NT character would you most like to meet in eternity? Also, if you could ask them a question about their life whilst lived out on earth - what would your question be?

I would like to meet Job. The devil tried to steal and destroy Job's life and it seemed like he was suceeding but God remained faithful to Job and vice versa. Job didn't have the same complete Word of God as we have today and yet he drew upon what knowledge of God he had and gained victory over his enemy.

I would like to ask Job what particular Scripture(s) he encouraged himself with and if this was one of the main 'weapons' he used in defeating the enemy (i.e. the Word of God) or did he use other spritual weapons and if so what were they?

Thomas.

Did you feel a right idiot for doubting Christ's resurrection, or were you just voicing what the other disciples had been thinking before they saw Him?

Peter

I would ask about his denial of Christ. What an horrible feeling he must have had in front of Jesus, How did he deal with it? I oftenly think about it. Must have been horrible to look at Jesus after that denial. In his situation i wonder if i would denied Him too, dont really know.

I'd kinda like to know about the other disciples besides Peter, John and James.

Also I would like to talk to the author of James, my fave book in the bible. What a great no nonsence man of God.

The Apostle John...

Would you please describe His love to me and how it was reflected in the people He ministered to and to you, His apostles?

(This question will take all of eternity for him to explain to me as I gaze upon my Saviour)

David

I sometimes feel a kinship with him even though our lives are nothing alike. I like his heart, his hunger for the things of God and his desire to honor Him and to walk in righteousness even if what was happening to him seemed so unfair. If I were to ask him a question, it would be about how he had this heart for God before the Holy Spirit came to indwell us who believe.

Job--"Dude...did that so suck or what?"

Jonah--"Did it smell in there?"

Methuselah--"To what do you attribute your longevity?"

Enoch--"Did you get that weird feeling in your stomach when you got taken away?"

Noah--"Can you swim?"

David--"What do you think about rock music?"

I'll probably think of some more.

So I could find out if he was really Jesus, or just a king who doubled as a priest. Also to find out why Abraham saw fit to give him one tenth of everything he had.

Jonathan's Armor Bearer- How did you REALLY feel when J. wanted you to go into battle with him knowing that 'perhaps' God would help you?

In VBS at about 10 years old our teacher(he seemed the least likely for that age group)asked, "If you could ask the prophet Daniel one question what would it be?" After 40 years plus I haven't been able to answer.

I would like to meet/talk with Apostle Paul.

I want him to recant his "road to Damascus" conversion. I want to look at his eyes, listen to the words he chooses to use, to describe the experience.

I also want to ask him about his witness in front of King Agrippa II............ Herod's whole family history had been wrapped up persecuting and trying to kill Jesus. Now in the fourth generation of Herods family, Herod Agrippa II was about to come face to face with the gospel of Christ through Paul.................... See Acts 25: 18-22 and Acts 26:1-31.

My Saviour Jesus.
