Do you have a best friend? I don't think I do but all my friends are special for different reasons. I don't really tend to have casual relationships, you're either my friend or you're not. My one friend A I've known since I was 11. She's unlike me in that she's very plain speaking and calls a spade a spade. If I'm not sure about something and need to cut to the chase, I'll ask her. Shame she's not a christian though. My other friend, also A, is a very patient mature (though only two months and ten days older than me) christian. Like the other A but more tolerant. And christian. My one guy friend, J, is on fire for God. Was running his own church but was missing one thing. A congregation. He's good to talk to about what the Lord is up to. I have other good friends too. Anyone have any friends they'd like to sing the praises of?

My best friend M is also my hero and my mentor. She is a grandmother with custody of her teenage special needs grandkids. Her devotion to Jesus touches everything she does. We are telephone friends mostly since I moved. She is very wise, and there is not a subject I would not want to hear her take on. My other long distance best friend is D. I also really respect her! She is leader of a huge inclusive support group for home schoolers. She loves children and really wants what is best for them. We have some of the same family challenges personality wise, so we can commiserate with one another in our home trials. And she also loves Jesus! My closest friend in proximity is my dh. He is also my hero, but in very different ways. He pursues excellence in all he does, he is steadfast in faith and almost always does what's right no matter how difficult it may be.

I have several best friends. One is named Beth-She is my best friend since I have known her since she was a kid,and she is really fun and nice to hang out with. Another best friend is Myra since she is a mentor to me and has helped me grow soo much in Jesus.I'd be lost without her! My mom and I are best buddys also since she is soo cool and so much fun to be with. She would do anything for me. My very best friend of all time though is Jesus Christ. He saved me,has shown me my worth in him,and is a friend that sticks closer to a brother. Without him I would be nothing and love him more and more every day.

Other than God, my best friend is my boyfriend. I know I can talk to him about anything and everything. He loves me and understands me, and sometimes I think he can read my mind. Gosh, I love that guy.

One of my two best friends has been my friend since 7th grade. We went through a lot of things together and were able to support and care for one another. Now we support and care for one another across the county, as we are on opposite sides. We email weekly and occasionally talk on the phone. We pray for each other. My other good friend lives just down the street. She cares about me and puts up with me sticking my foot in my mouth and gives me enormous grace. She has shown me what it means to love a person and give them grace in the Lord. We laugh together, pray together, help each other out, and sing together! :) I'm a better person because of these two women, and I am so grateful. It makes me want to be like them.

My best friends are my dad and my dog. I'm closer with my father than I am probably anyone else in my life. I've worked with his auction service since I was in sixth grade, and still help him out to this day (though now I'm one of the auctioneers, too). Working that closely together, we've become tight, and I'm VERY thankful to have that kind of a relationship with him. As for my dog.... what can I say? I love Caesar. I can honestly say that these are the only two people in the world who I can totally and honestly trust with anything and everything.

Obviously besides Jesus, my best friend is my girlfriend. I can tell her anything, anytime and know she's always going to be there. And it goes both ways. Sometimes when we've emailed each other, I'll sign it as "your best friend" or address her as so. Its really important to make that a big part of everything. I do have other "best friends" though two from middle school or so. I even roomed with one for my first year of college. But when I really just need to talk to a person, my girlfriend is there for me. I am very happy to have that with her.

My best friend is God! Sure, I have many other friends, but, the question is "who is best friend". God is with me 24/7; accepts my praise without being embarrassed or thinking I'm wanting something in return; gives me a set of instructions (Bible) to follow; comforts me when I am in pain; congratulates me when I've succeeded; gives me, daily, the gift(s) of brand new blessings and opportunities upon the horizon of every one of His sunrises; is not jealous of my other friendships; forgives me of my sins; He never holds a grudge; gives me the beauty of nature to thank Him for; is always there for me when I make a mistake; and, s-o-o-o much more! Yep, might have a lot of friends, but, my "best friend" is, far and away, God!

I don't really tend to have casual relationships, you're either my friend or you're not. God is all that I could ask for. He's my best friend...but I want an earthly best friend as well. So, I do not have a best friend. My recent best friend, she was nice and everything, but she kept pushing me away. As in, not wanting to talk, not wanting to hang, etc etc. We were best friends for maybe a year. But we've known each other for our whole lives. It hurt me a lot...because she changed soo much..for the negative. I've had best friends in the past, but right now, I don't have any. What I really want is a best friend that'll stick with me for a looong time. Best friends come and go, and it sucks. I get lonely a lot. Yeah, I hang out with friends allll the time. But what I really want is a true best friend. So no, no best friend. And it hurts, but I usually keep people at a distance...so that's partly my fault...but again, it's not.

I have 2 best friends, besides God. One of them is a guy in my church I've known for a couple of years. I can go to him about almost anything. He's like an older brother to me... and he's helped me out in a lot of things. Then there's this girl. I've known her for slightly longer. She's not a Christian, and tends to be leaning toward Goth/Wiccan/Emoness. (whatever) but we're very good friends.... she's been there for me when I needed her, and she says that I've been there for her as well. I wish she was a Christian though.

First God and then my wife. I have 2 very very good friends after that for very different reasons 1 is a former pastor and the main reason is because he knows so much of my strengths and weaknesses and is 1 person I can call on anytime day or night and get a straight answer about anything and the other is a buddy since h.s. that knows so much about me I gotta keep him on my good side to the point we will never not be friends. :)
