Im feeling very focused on God but have been experiencing depression like David probably did.
I have trouble merely "keeping my eyelids open" like the Psalm says. Anyways, if anyone can say a prayer that I would be relieved from depression,
thank you very much. This has gone on for some time.

Father in the name of Jesus, we come against this spirit of depression in (Eric). satan, we bind and cast out you, and this spirit of depression that is coming against (Eric) and command you to flee now in the name, power and authority of Jesus Christ. We claim victory for Eric over this spirit of deprssion, as it is not from God... and we ask Lord that you fill Eric with Your strength, power and joy as he overcomes this situation in his life.

Father, wrap Your big loving arms around RefinersMetal. Let them feel Your presence in and around them as they go throughout their day and night. Help them through this depression, knowing that it is only for a season. Let them find fellowship here in the CW forums, and I ask that you connect them to a brother or sister who can relate and speak words that touch their heart to help heal during this journey. Amen
RM ... there is a thread here that is for encouragement, including for those who suffer depression. Sometimes all it takes is a little time investing in reading others' stories as they go through their journey. I pray that you find someone that you can relate with, whose story clicks with you, and that you can find the encouragement you need.
Although I no longer suffer from depression, there are a couple verses that I found very useful. You are probably already familiar with them, but it's always well worth reading and saying ... and even more importantly, believing.
1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our anxiety on Him, because He cares for us
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. - Phil 4:6

Eric, I totally sympathize with you because I've been going through somewhat of a depression lately too. And I haven't been able to focus on God the way I want to, my mind just wanders and I feel so TIRED! I'll pray for you, and you can pray for me too. And may God bless you.

Eric,
I pray for you and your depression. Let it be temporary. I have been there, and I have learned, I must act, move, talk to people, smile even if it kills me, because if I set there with my head in my hands.. it will kill me.
