Ok...so i have been thinking about many things lately. One of those many things is about the youth, in other words us, how devoted are we to God? I try my best to seek Gods face and glory day in and day out, but everytime that i come around and talk to "young adults" about it, they know what i'm talking about but they can't really relate to it because they don't do it. They have allowed themselves to turn into their surroundings instead of their surroundings turning into them. In other words they are comfortable with the world not acknowledging that we live in this world but we are not of it.
So my question is...how many of you actually take time to seek Gods face every day...how many actually seek his presence...how many yearn to be used by him?
How many pray and read the Bible daily...how many fast?

You know your right, I notice a lot of young adults and youths that proclaim they are Christians but do not step to make a difference, instead they just live in with the world, and are comfortable with being surrounded by the world... I know that very well I used to be like that and I trying not to let myself be that way.... I take time for God with prayer and reading the bible and try to be good example, although, I do have days where I have not read my bible, or gave up time for God and I just let it be another day... and then I feel bad about it... because sometimes things get crazy and when they do I lean on Him, and if I don't pray and ask of His help I don't feel right until I do.

I know what you are talking about. Unfortunately, I have not fasted at all lately(I'll do it in streaks of once or twice a week for a while, and then not do it at all for a while) One excuse of mine is that lately when I have tried to fast, I get sick...(high metabolism, no extra calories to burn I guess...I dunno...it's pathetic.)
Now that it is getting warmer though, I plan to start regularly fasting again. (I have a goal to do a three day fast sometime next month)

My prayer and desire this year(kind of like a new years resolution) is to have what ever I say, think, and do bring glory to my King. I have recently slipped a bit though...with a sever case of rebellion, but I'm pulling myself up again, albeit slowly.

Alas, that is my major goal...and I hate it when i end up doing the opposite.
But my King died to save sinners like me, so in that I have hope.

I know what you mean also. I went through a major case of rebellion a few months back, it's scary to think back on. Needless to say I ended up face down in the mud, metaphorically speaking. And that's when I decided it was time to start following Christ again, I by no means have a perfect relationship with Him, but I have given up a lot of behaviors that really were "toxic" to me. So now I try to read my Bible and pray daily, and I am trying to serve God and find out what He wants me to do with the rest of my life. It's tough, but Christ gives strength.
