My journal is a record of my thoughts, feelings, insights, conversations with God, events in my life. I used to use bound books and handwriting but for many years I've used the computer. I created a template for MS Word and use a new document for each day. Because much of my journalling is done in communication with others, such as e-mail, forums, chat, blogs, I copy and paste these things into the appropriate day's document.

I was encouraged by a freind to keep a journal once when I started a new job. I think that lasted about a week. I have journaled before while in prayer and reading the Bible. I was looking over some of those notes fairly recently and was amazed that God was more or less telling me the same thing as years ago.

My journal covers just about everything...joys, fears, frustrations, hurts, triumphs, special dates or events, and just little silly or humorous things I never want to forget. Sometimes I write letters to people, just to work out my own feelings. Whatever is on my heart, both good and bad, I journal about. It's good therapy!

I am journaling every night, usually about things God speaks to me about or I feel led to look up bible verses about.I also write about good things that have happened, frustrations, and even write prayers sometimes.
