I'm assuming it will be some kind of disease - maybe something to get Gibbs back in the director's life (besides work)? Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be the overall storyline of the season - a little each episode.

Major NCIS shake up I don't know if there are any spoilers in this link, it seems more like speculation, but if you don't want to know anything at all then don't click the link

If they did away with anyone BUT Jenny - I would be severely disappointed.

Replacing cast members is a risky business. ER and Law & Order have replaced cast members over the years. Law & Order was more successful IMO. Thewas a continuity to the feel of the show and the overall tone. I can't stand the way ER changed, it kept moving further to the left. I stopped watching when Noah Wyle left.

Hmm...apparently it's not a health problem, according to what Jenny said in the elevator. Either she was lying, or there's something else going on. This will be interesting to watch in the next few weeks.

Okay, I'll say it - pregnancy? I liked the show last night. Especially when Abby locked herself and the dog in. I think my husband was the first to figure it out this time. My daughter and I were a little slow (we usually have it figured sooner than he).

I thought that, too about pregnancy...but then what's up with the x-rays? I guessed the culprit early on...but didn't think I was right. That dog was a beautiful shepherd.

According to this weeks TV Guide, one character gets killed off on the final episode of the season. Personally, I hope it is the director. I've never liked that character. Tonight's episode should be a good one because the Frogs body is found.

By the way, I don't think it will turn out to be anyone in NCIS who killed the Frog. I think his daughter did it after she found out he was an arms dealer and had her heart broken by Tony because of it.

Jeff - ha, you're wrong! It wasn't Jeanne! But I hate how it ended. So DID Jenny kill him and get away with it??

You're right. It wasn't Jeanne though it did look that way for a while. Yes, the director did it and got away with it, and Gibbs knows it but isn't saying anything. Kort admitted to it but that could have been an act so that his undercover operation as an arms dealer can continue. Also, remember that Jenny knew Jeanne was lying when she said Tony was the shooter. She was easily able to break her story. That and the final exchange with Gibbs pretty much seals it that Jenny did it. Now I really hope that her character is the one they kill off on the season finale.

yeah. she did it alright. I used to really like her but now...eh, i dunno. She's just gripey all the time. I'm glad Tony was exonerated. Ziva's face when she told him to go "be a man" was priceless. They are so made for each other, but she was selfless. What was up with his total lie to Jeanne that all of it was a lie. He was in love with her? Is he in denial?

Jenny is so... cold and callus. I guess that's my biggest problem with her. When's the end of the season?

Does anyone remember the two-part episode of JAG that served as the pilot for NCIS? On that episode it was stated that Gibbs was a Gunnary Sergeant in the Marine Reserves. In fact, Harm referred to him as "Gunny" several times. Has that ever been mentioned in the show? I know it has been mentioned that he was a former Marine but I don't recall any plot-line that has him currently being in the Marine Reserves.

There are full-time guard and reserve component jobs at most guard or reserve units. Many full-time reserve or guard members are actually civil service for most of the month. They do the same job all the time. They only have to put a uniform on for a couple of days a months. An agent for the NCIS is always in street clothes so no real difference in apparel. So this could be plausible. I was Air Force and the USAF OSI (Office of Special Investigations) performs a very similar role. They never wear a uniform because they aren't supposed to disclose their rank. Most are enlisted however.
