I am new to CW / C-com.....Let's see....first....I am God's child and friend *smile* then...I am a mom to a beautiful hockey playing chickee....I am a print broker / accountant by day and run a spa / airbrush tanning business / training & consulting salons and spas by night....
I attend an Assembly of God Church...totally involved with singles ministry...and Small Groups...God has recently led me to start a new ministry for single parents and the children (love those kids!).....God is sooo good ALL the time!!

I have been saved for 6 years (March 11, 1999). I love volleyball, swimming (only in the summer), reading books (LOTR, Left Behind, christian sci-fi and end-times novels.), listening to music (christian alternative- relient K, skillet, philmore, alternative rock- green day, linkin park, nature music, celtic music/irish pub music, Michelle Tumes), hanging out with friends @ church. I go to the Door Christian Fellowship. I'm involved in drama outreaches, choir, nursery. I recently posted a thread about "how does a guy know I like him".

Hi, I'm Kara Peterson, 30 yrs old, living in Tucson, AZ. My church is St. Mark's United Methodist Church. I have been married since '95, and have a 2 year old daughter named Emma. My interests are many, but here are some: Reading fantasy, scifi, theology, history, biographies. Old radio shows, jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles, Mahjongg, sewing, scrapbooking, online gaming, new teas and coffees, iTunes, feeding stray animals, cat art, urban legends, news of the weird, and rescuing the few good songs from the cds in bargain bins. My next step in life is hopefully going to be finally taking some theology or anthropology courses once my daughter is in school. I have been transplanted in Arizona...my husband got a job transfer. I am from Maryland. I would love to meet some Christian friends out here. I'm the gal that'll invite you in, force a few cups of tea on you, and enjoy every minute of discussing everything conceivable with you.

I live in S. Mississippi near the Gulf Coast and Kiln, MS (home of Brett Favre of the GBP's), grew up in Colorado and called New Mexico home before coming to Mississippi.

I am a research physicist, but am hoping to change to a university teaching position in the near future.

When I'm not working, I like working on my property, improving it, clearing trees, building things, growing a garden (vegetables, fruit, herbs as well as flowers), if I can't be outside then I like to read and crochet. I like cooking--especially deserts like flavored cheesecakes and fruit/berry filled sweet breads, but don't do much of it. I designed the house that I currently live in and have been toying with another house design specifically intended for another part of my property.

I attend church at the Mill Creek Baptist Church
