But the semen would have to transferred through either open wounds, or sexually. Somehow, it has to enter the blood stream. Semen just thrown on someone would not infect that person, unless forced into a wound.

The dentist obviously was not cleaning their instruments properly, probably trying to save money and overcharging patients at the same time as was probably the case. I am not familiar with the case, so I cannot speak for it.

Regardless, HIV can only infect someone either sexually or by entering the blood stream through numerous other means.

Semen splashed on someone would not infect that person and would not be attempted murder or reckless endangerment.

Disorderly conduct and public indecency would be more like the charges. And register them as sex offenders, so they can't live next to anyone ever again.

Well I am certainly not a medical expert, but the virus (to my understanding) can pass through any mucus membrane into the blood stream. The eyes seem expecially suseptable to this, the interior of the nostrils, the mouth, etc.

Anyway soneone throws used condoms or semen on me, they would prefer jail to the can of spinach I would open on them.

Thanks
RC

If HIV can not be spread through recently "filled" condoms, then why is there such a drive to protect police, EMT's, nurses, doctors, ect from recent blood spills?

Again, I am not saying the odds of someone getting infected from a used condom are high. But if anyone is knowingly a carrier of the HIV virus, and they do a criminal act, with even the slightest chance that someone may possibly get the HIV, they SHOULD be charged with reckless endangerment. We are not talking about odds, but actions. The odds may be low, but the reckless disregard for others is still there.

I agree that attempted murder would not be the right charge. For they did not intend to actually harm the person. Now reckless endangerment of a life would be the right call. If any of the people knew that they, or someone else in the group DID have a infectious disease, and still went ahead with the plan, it could (and should) be argued that they recklessly endangered the lives and well being of their targets.

It's bio terrorism. Intentionally exposing someone to an infectious agent IS attempted murder. (or at least should be charged that way)

Homosexual groups get 65-million dollar gift

SEATTLE - The estate of Ric Weiland, a high school classmate of Microsoft Corp. founders Bill Gates and Paul Allen and one of the first five people to work at the software giant, has left $65 million to homosexual rights and HIV/AIDS organizations.

The bequests were announced Sunday by the Pride Foundation of Seattle, where Weiland was a board member for several years. The foundation called it the largest single bequest ever given to homosexual causes.

Gates and Allen hired Weiland in 1975, the year they founded Microsoft. He worked as a project leader for the Microsoft Works word processing and spreadsheet software, and was a lead programmer and developer for the company's BASIC and COBOL systems, two of the first personal computing interfaces. He left Microsoft in 1988.

Pro-Homosexual Booklet to Be Distributed to All 16,000 US School Districts
Book specifically instructs teacher to "avoid" discussing the idea that homosexual inclinations can be changed

By Hillary White

US, February 21, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - At the same time that news has come out that the Toronto Catholic School board has refused to participate in pro-homosexual activities, homosexual activists are making significant inroads in US schools, as a booklet titled, "Just the Facts about Sexual Orientation and Youth," is set to be distributed to all 16,000 school districts in the country.

The 24-page booklet by the National Education Association and American Psychological Association, tells students that homosexuality is a "normal expression of human sexuality".

"What's so scary and dogmatic about this report is that it communicates that religious-based viewpoints are harmful, and even dangerous," said Candi Cushman, education analyst for Focus on the Family Action.

A follow up from this thread.

To summarize: Barak Obama finds support for homosexual civil unions in the Sermon on the Mount - news at 11 - or not.

I saw that on Christianity Today, but he never said which verses. Odd. He also said that politicians in Washington don't read their Bibles enough. I would add that the ones who do, most misinterpret their Bibles (such as Obama).

Hey, C!

As an aside, BO making this claim (among others) totally removes any support that I might have given him. He is mocking Christians and God.

BHO: "If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount, which I think is, in my mind, for my faith, more central than an obscure passage in Romans."

Why does BHO get to decide which passages matter and which are dismissed as "obscure?"

Seems to me that he is picking and choosing whatever he can use to appeal to the general public. It has nothing to do with true Christian belief (or theology for that matter).

He's trying to appeal to "Evangelicals" and is having the opposite effect. I would never support him anyway. His views on abortion make that a no-brainer.

He's a democrat. That alone eliminates him from contention for Christians because the democrat platform is anti-Christ. How can we support someone who is for everything that Christ is against (such as abortion and the acceptance of sexual perversion)?

Making one a democrat or republican shouldn't matter. There are evangelical democrats who oppose abortion and homosexuality, but they're in the minority and don't get their voices heard.

You're stereotyping based on the majority.

50 years ago, the Democrats were the conservatives.

If they are opposed to the policies of the democrat party, one of which is the promotion of sexual deviancy, why do they ally themselves with the democrats?

No I'm stating truth. Every democrat, by their support of teh democrat party, lends support to abortion and sexual deviancy. Because that is what the democrat part supports.

It's not 50 years ago though. Today the democrats are the pro-homosexual, pro-baby-killer party.

In Reference to "Homosexuality in the News", I saw a most awesome
happening. Only God's hand could be on it! There is to be a "day of silence" in the public schools all across America. The reason? To denounce
the advancement of homosexuality and the teaching of it in the public schools.
The percentage of those who are against homosexual involvement is
86%. That is well over any quota. Though there are many other debates,
disgusting displays by some; by and large, the American people--parents,
school officials and more are not for it. They want their kids to grow up
in a healthy atmosphere and without any more interference in subjects &/
or their studies than need be. By faith, we stand in victory of this...do we not?

Lawmaker Threatened for Comparing Gay Lifestyle to Terrorism

By

An Oklahoma lawmaker has received thousands of hostile e-mails and voice messages that included death threats for speaking out about homosexuality and labeling it a bigger threat to America than terrorism or Islam.

"I'm not anti, I'm not gay bashing but according to God's word, that is not the right kind of lifestyle," said State Rep. Sally Kern at a Republican event in January.

Her comments generated national attention after pro-homosexual group Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund posted the recording on YouTube earlier this week. As of Friday afternoon, the posting had close to 900,000 views.

Mrs. Kern's words were contradictions and I don't even know what else. "noting that people involved in the homosexual lifestyle have more suicides, discouragement, illness and shorter life spans." Maybe there's more suicides because of how difficult it is to be an openly gay person in the States? Illness? What illness? 75% of people infected with AIDS are heterosexual. I don't even know what else to say. I'm confused by her words. Say it's morally wrong, say you don't think it's right, say the Bible's against it. But deadly? That one I don't get. I would have thought that people flying planes into buildings and committing suicide with bombs would be a little more deadly than if someone prefers to date someone of their same sex.

And her stating that nations who openly embraced homosexuality were destroyed within a few decades...I'm sure there has to be other factors waging in that one.

I read an article in a medical journal 10 years ago. It listed all the increased risk factors homosexuals have for all sorts of diseases, not just STDs. It was shocking to see how high their risk of infections and disease transmission is. They do have a higher mortality rate from what I remember. I may have that here somewhere. I will post some numbers for you tomorrow when I get a chance.

As to the last comment. I remember being taught that along with a few other factors that used to be considered the hallmarks of a society destroying itself. The societal acceptance of sexual perversions is a good indicator of the replacement of morality for immorality. I remember that when sexual perversions become acceptable, the society falls within a century or so.

"I said that homosexuality, in my opinion, is a bigger threat to this nation than terrorism" We sanction violence against terrorism by waging war. We execute terrorists. While she may not be explicitly advocating violence against homosexuals, the implication is there.

"It's not about bullying. It's about speech,” she noted. “Just disagreeing with someone does not make you a hate monger." Just disagreeing with someone does not make you a hate monger; saying homosexuals are a bigger threat than terrorism sure does.

I abhor the death threats, but she shouldn't be surprised that she gets hate mail in response to her hate speech.

Since the bible includes homosexuality with sins like deceit, malice, gossip, slander, arrogance, pride, and disobedience to parents, Mrs. Kerns must be surrounded by "terrorists".

It's comments like this from far-right extremists who believe that homosexuality has more influence on the decline of the institute of marriage than heterosexual immorality, prostitution, pornography, divorce or adultery that make any discussion about the "sanctity" of marriage meaningless.

God does NOT rank one sin over another. The child molester, the serial killer and the man or woman cheating on his/her spouse all meet the same fate. Smoking, abusing alcohol and sexual immorality (BOTH homosexual and heterosexual) have similar effects on society and culture, yet I don't see the far right going college students who have sex with multiple partners at Raves, or fraternities who boast about how many freshman women they've scored in a year, or going after tobacco companies or alcohol manufacturers for the poisons they produce.

Maybe we should pray that God may help us reach those who are gay, or smoke, or are gossips, or abuse alcohol, or who are having immoral sexual relations, etc. with the message of Jesus and leave the judgement up to God.

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? Romans 2:1-4

Actually if you read Leviticus 18 and 20, homophilia is more like incest zoophilia and pedophilia rather than gossip.

It is not we who pass judgement, but rather God, we are merely saying what God has already told us. For that is our duty to follow God's teachings and to preach it to others.

Some sins are worse than others. If you read the Bible, the worse sins are always punished with death, while the lesser sins are not.

Christian conservatives do condemn fornicators pornographers prostitutes and adulterers as well as homophiles, but you do not hear it because you do not visit Christian conservative websites, visit some and believe me you will see condemnation against fornicators adulterers prostitutes and pornographers, but let me remind you that it is not the fornicators and adulterers who have formed oragnizations and movements based on their sins, it is the homophiles and their coddlers.

All sexual activity outside of marriage should be cirminalized, that includes homophilia which is an abomination before the eyes of God.

Also, just because homophilia may not always have more more influence on the decline of the institute of marriage than heterosexual immorality, prostitution, pornography, divorce or adultery, that does mean that any discussion about the sanctity of marriage is meaningless.

For marraige truly is sacred and we should protect the sanctity of marriage, bY opposing and outlawing all non-married lifestyles, which includes (unfortunately for homophile coddlers) homophilia.

And homophilia truly does result to the decline of marriage, perhaps much more (if not just as much) than heterosexual immorality, prostitution, pornography, divorce or adultery, but defintely not less, especially considering the fact that the Bible says homophilia results to depraved minds.

Yes we should condemn and oppose prostitution, pornography, divorce or adultery, but we must never forget to oppose and condemn the abomination that is homophilia while we do so.

You do not ignore one immorality just because you want to oppose some other kinds of immorality.

You do not ignore the threat of homophilia to marriage family and society just because you want to oppose and expose the threat of other kinds of sexual immorality like prostitution, pornography, divorce or adultery to marriage family and society.

To even suggest doing so is to be guilty of trying to distract people away from the threat of homophilia, by trying to focus all the attention on other sins and immorality, in order to promote and protect homophilia and allow it to flourish and infect the minds and hearts of children.

Promoting and protecting homophilia is a sin, it is immoral.

Deerfield High’s Homosexual Porn-Gate; Higgins Responds to Fornero

Concerned parents and citizens across the nation are aghast at the news that a teacher in Deerfield High School (north of Chicago) would assign a homosexual activist-authored play, “Angels in America,” with graphic depictions of sodomy, etc., to students in AP English class. LISTEN ONLINE/CWA: OK Lawmaker Under Vicious Attack by Anti-Christian Homosexual Hate Groups

Rep. Sally Kern assigned bodyguard after homosexual threats; trusts in God to protect her

Folks, I strongly urge you to listen to this radio program, and then contemplate the malevolence of homosexual activists who even went so far as to falsely label Oklahoma legislator Sally Kern’s son Jesse as “gay” to further their hate campaign against her.

http://americansfortruth.com/news/cwa-ok-lawmaker-under-attack-by-anti-christian-homosexual-hate-groups.html

Thank God our Father in Heaven for good decent brave statesmen like Rep. Sally Kern, who are not afraid to expose the true immoral nature of the homophiles and their coddlers.

Homophilia truly is worse than islamic terrorism, for islamic terrorism cannot win against a nation or society that has a strong Christian moral foundation, islamic terrorism can only win when a society or nation has already been weakened by the immoral filth rot and decay that is homophila.

Homophilia should be criminalized, this will prevent the homophiles from weakening a society or nation to point where it will be overcome by islamic terrorism.
