I suppose it's about time for me to get a thread going in here. I'd do a blog (it's not like I don't have an opinion on just about everything ), but I like a good discussion or competely bizarre conversation better....

Not sure what this will turn into, but knowing my forum friends it will probably take on a life of it's own.....

So, if you have a warped sense of humor, think chocolate is beneficial for good health, and talk to your pets - COME ON IN!

If you are boring, people tend to run away from you screaming and think Christians are supposed to be serious and sad all the time, go post in theology. (I'll probably see you there as I am a glutton for punishment, but we may not be agreeing ).

Hi Phosy! Can I be the first one to congratulate you on your new thread?

Congratulations!

Hey, is it okay for me to be here if the pets talk back to me?

Welcome to the insanity!

My pets talk back to me too.....

Most people think I'm a bit of a nut because my furry children are just that - furry children.... I keep saying it's because I'm single and have no kids. Not sure what I'll say if I get married and have skin kids.... Just have to come up with another excuse I guess...

Nobody sees my pets but me. I think that's rather remarkable since one is a purple elephant and another is a giraffe.

BTW, did you know that the giraffe is related to deer and cattle, but is placed in a separate family, the Giraffidae, consisting only of the giraffe and its closest relative, the okapi?

Hi I'm invisible, my cat can see me though. I roll around the floor with her does that count for anything?

Hey Phosy!!! Nice place ya got!

I brought some of my specialty sandwiches.... Karen thought they sounded divine:

Hard salami, gouda cheese and strawberry jam on a hot buttered hard roll.

Enjoy!

Ya' all are my kind of people. Totally insane! Welcome to my thread! Tee hee hee!

Just finished mowing my lawn and cleaning out some of the sprinkler heads. I think there is a sprinkler demon that goes around dumping mud in the sprinklers so they don't work right. Wonder if they look like Euty's purple elephant? Hmmmmm... Must ponder that.....

I always show up eventually.

So what kinda critters are we talking about? My grand daughter just obtained three little snails for pets. Hasn't heard 'em talk yet. She's 5 though, I think they were using some of them big words she doesn't understand...

I believe snail is one of the more difficult to pick up in the animal linguistics realm. It's good she's starting early.

It is due to the snail (as well as slugs) having extremely small voice boxes. Linguists have had a hard time attaching microphones to the beasts, and picking up their language. quite the opposite of whales.
ANYONE can speak whale if they try.
