Diva - So sorry to hear about your brother. It's not silly at all to have a hard time with that room.

Kara - Welcome to my home! Sorry though! I'll pass on organizing your home. I'm organized out! Plus now I have to start on the next set of projects around here...

Hi Trish! How are you?

I just finished my workout and breakfast and am getting ready to go mow my lawn and such. It's already getting too hot out there though... I hate the heat...

Thanks--it was a difficult time but I am blessed with lots of wonderful freinds who helped me thru it all. And thanks for the encouragement.

Not a problem.

Well, I'm trying to get my allergy pills to last until next payday, but I don't think I'm going to make it. My nose is running like a sieve... I don't know what's in the air, but ugh... I wish it would go away...

Paint my exterior door trims, wash my windows, wash my car (and vacuum the inside), put up more shelving in the garage, spray my lawn in the back (although have to wait for a little cooler weather), "deep" clean my fridge, normal weekly cleaning & laundry, etc... Most of that will wait until next weekend though. I think I've "earned" a lazy day...

Kristin, it definitely sounds as though you've earned a lazy day to me. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Me? I'm just sitting here waiting to get sleepy.

Thanks Trish! I do feel better. I my Zyrtec!

Anyway, after going back and forth all week, I decided to skip church this morning. When you work at the church, it's really hard not to "work" when you are trying to fellowship. I decided this week, I needed my vacation more - I'm not ready to go back to work yet - even if I'm not "technically" at work.

Anyway, I did a long run and now I'm fiddling around here. I'm hoping to make some brownies, work on some crochet projects, listen to some Christmas music (no, I'm not that pathetic- it's for our choir) and watch some more of my Stargate Atlantis DVD's. Ahhhhhh! The perfect day!

I can understand that. it's too bad it works out that way.

That's one reason a former pastor of mine would hire people from outside the church for full time jobs. And he didn't pester them to "join the church"...

It's not too bad but sometimes you just need a break. I actually did get a phone call today but at least it was related to my ministry in the church, not my job...

That is an interesting strategy... and a good one.

Well, back at work. Sigh. And of course, there was a huge pile of stuff on my desk to come back to and a long list of emails to read on my computer. And there is an even longer list of things that people want done that for some reason no one else in the office can do... And of course everyone needs stuff right now... Sigh.

Is it Friday yet?

Yup ... which is why I so graciously offered you the once-in-a-lifetime (okay, once for that day) opportunity of continuing your decluttering and purging streak ... moving from your place to mine!
