Phosy -- did you read what I wrote about Cracker Barrel? If not, it was this... I had lunch in there on Sunday and saw Maple Cream Cookies in their gift shop... of course, I thought of you.
Do they have Cracker Barrels there in Washington?

I was going to tell y'all anyway -- on my way out here to AZ, I saw 3 Cracker Barrels in over 1000 miles... WHAT do the Baptists in these states do on Sunday for dinner????

They go to mama's

We have some locally owned places. One is called Jomar's, they are happy over there fatback bar. Etta's is great for some good fried chicken. We have a Ryan's too. Plus several Mexican and Chinese restaurants.

I like this stuff too-----> Emer'gen-C

Wash your hands a lot.

Don't touch your face.

Wear a mask.

Maybe even wear gloves.

Call in sick so you don't get sick.

But then I'll have to change my answer on that 27 page personal history statement about if I've ever called in sick when I wasn't...

Our receptionist stopped by my office today and asked if we were going to lunch tomorrow (there is a group of us that usually go out on paydays). Problem? The past week, she has been coughing her lungs out and she's one of those people who doesn't have very good... um.... personal habits...

I think if she's there tomorrow, I'm going to politely ask her to take another car and explain why. Then I'll sit as far away from her as I can...

Sounds like you should wear a mask and gloves.

Good point about the personal history statement. I once called in sick due to 3 nights of insomnia to go to the doctor to get something to help me sleep so I wouldn't get sick. While there the doctor ran some tests and found some problems that needed to be treated. So I was sick. I just didn't know it yet.

Do you know if you'll be taking a polygraph or a voice stress analysis test?

Echinacea and all the other things sound like good moves.

What date is the big day again?

Mac - I'm pretty sure all the departments around here use polygraphs. That's what I did for the department I applied with last year so hopefully I won't be AS nervous... (in other words - I'm hoping to be just somewhat freaked rather than totally freaked... )

Trish - the police testing is next Saturday.

So far so good in the not getting sick department... I'm just about to glug more airborne though... It still sounds like the sick ward of a hospital where I work...
