For those of you who are going to the GC HOMECOMING or have went to a GC homecoming...Where are some good area hotels to stay at? Thanks!

I have GC Homecoming tickets for next Thursday. We wanted to see MTT, Tim Riley and Jay Parrack, too. We've never been to a GC HC and wondered if there's any thing we should know ahead of time, like parking issues, how to dress, etc.
Also, is anyone else out there going to Thursday's concert?

I'll be there for Thursday night. It's my first time to the Homecoming. I'm hoping there are no real issues with parking etc.

Hi DeeAnn,
The only major event we've attended is MTT's HC a couple of times, so we're not sure what to expect. Sometimes it's just nice to know if there's certain things to be prepared for ahead of time. We just live in the next county, so we'll drive over and back home that evening.

I understand. I'm fortunate this year to be able to come to GC for Thursday night and MTT for Saturday (thought earlier I was going to be able to come to MTT for Friday and Saturday but some plans had to change)

Next Saturday night, June 21, the BIG EVENT in Gainesville, GA. Gold City along with Triumphant will be in concert there. Can't hardly wait until then.
CaptainSmooth is gonna be eating hot dogs. Several people have promised him one. If they don't follow through, I'll be there and buy him one.

I was there that day!! Those guys are just so incredible with the kids!! At the end of their concert that night during their last song Steve picked up either JoJo or Preston and got him up on stage with the guys. That boy was thrilled to death to be up there with them! It was the most precious thing ever!! I love seeing SG artists getting involved in such great ministries like this Children's Home!!

Captain Smooth, sorry I didn't get to meet you in person, I was at the Lebanon, MO concert and was one of the first to buy the new CD. I asked Aaron about you and he said you were at the motel, catching some shuteye, I suppose. Really enjoyed hearing Bruce for the first time, he was incredible and so is the new CD. Hope to catch ya next time.

I will totally be there, still trying to find out where our seats are though!! I'll actually be seeing Gold City 3 times this weekend!! I'm totally excited about it, and I can't wait to get their new cd!!!
