A quick run-down of GC newest cd "Revival:"

1. Ain't That What It's All About (country-tinged Hinson classic - Danny Riley - lead)
2. Preach The Word (power ballad - Steve Ladd lead)
3. God's Still Good (catchy tune - Aaron McCune lead)
4. Look Who Just Checked In (a kickin' Jon Wilburn lead)
5. Truth Is Marching On (popular power ballad/current radio single - Danny - lead)
6. That's What I'm Talkin' About (upbeat Spiritual - Jon lead)
7. Teach Me Lord To Wait (classic hymn - Aaron lead)
8. Not Anymore (upbeat Habedank/Holt [of the Perrys] song - Steve lead)
9. Mercy Came Running (contemporary-tinged PCD song - Danny lead)
10. I'm Rich (Negro Spiritual - Jon lead)

I'd still like to see more songs that remind me of the previous GC lineup, but still, the song selection was fabulous! Favorites include "Look Who Just Checked In," "Ain't That What It's All About," and (surprise ) "Mercy Came Running."

I think "Teach Me Lord" was a departure and "That's What I'm Talkin' About" didn't quite catch on with me, but once again, a cd worth listening to!!! GREAT job guys!

I haven't heard the newest CD yet, but I just don't want them to lose that CLASSIC southern gospel flare. There's enough contemporary stuff out there. We don't need anymore crossovers.

I STILL LOVE GOLD CITY, though. They're the BEST. Well, other than Pure Heart. MUAHAHAHAA

Actually, I had a rough time finding new smilies that fit the Kingsmen, so I just took the frog theme! No serious intentions, though!! I would say that the bouncing frog would fit Tony Peace or Nic Succi the best, though.

I can tell that you have not heard the new cd. That Cd is no more contemporary than I am. Believe me I am not contemporary. You REALLY need to purchase it before making a statement like that. In my opinion it is the best cd of the year.

The bouncing one should be with Gold City, so it could be Jonathan Wilburn. It has his energy!

I can't wait to get the new GC cd. It sounds like it is really good!
