I'd pose so you'd get a really GOOD picture then!

Hi Deb. How are you today? I'm only going to be on for about a half and hour. We're cooking at the church camp today and they gave us a 3 hour break. I didn't want to just hang around camp so we drove home.

We only cook for one day. Most camps go for a week, but this is younger kids and tomorrow is their last day. When Merv serves as a cabin dad at the end of the month, he'll be gone from Sunday till Friday. He keeps trying to talk me into helping too, but I'm not a good camper. Besides, someone has to keep things going at home and do all the wash when camp is done. I'd get home on Friday after a week of camp and have to work 20 hours at the lab on Saturday and Sunday. I don't have that much energy.

I'm a little anxious about spending part of tomorrow in the manual wheelchair while they fix the power chair, though. It offers no back support. But it will be worth it!

Do you have a backup chair or are they providing you with one?

I have John's manual chair. We're assuming they'll do an on-site repair. Goodness, now you've got me nervous!

How was your conference, Slushie?

I'm sitting in John's manual wheelchair (which has no back support), waiting very impatiently for the repair guy. It's not been a fun day.

The guy didn't come till after 4:00, and he had been very tempted to reschedule (he'd had a frustrating day), but my chair is fixed. It will take two weeks for the new batteries to work up to their peak, but then...Freedom Trail, here I come! Praise the Lord! Again, thank you for all your prayers.

Whoooo Hoooo that your chair is fixed DebbieLynne!!!

Sue! How tall IS your son!!?? And how tall are you?
As a mom, isn't it amazing to be on a step latter measuring the child that was probably barely 20 inches long when he was born?

That's how I feel about Josh sometimes.

Hi Everyone!! I see Kristin and James are at it in here too LOL!!

Darcy, I know you have been busy, busy, busy and you have had your girls for a bit? I am happy for you for that.

The new season of Project Runway starts tonight I think. I better go get some laundry in as it starts a new time this season too. 8 central. I better check it out.

Praise God that your wheelchair is fixed! I can't wait to read about all your adventures!

Sharon, Joe is just a little over 6'3". Last time I checked I was 5'1", but I feel like I'm shrinking. Of course, that may just be because my boys have been growing.

The internet guys were here for about 2 hours trying to figure out what's wrong. I didn't have internet at all yesterday. They said there is some sort of interference, but they can't figure out what it is. They're going to switch us from wireless to dsl for no extra charge and see if that works. Merv said they tried to hook us up to dsl several years ago and couldn't get it to work. I hope it works this time. Anyway, right now it's working, so I figured I'd better jump in your thread to say "Hi!".
