At this stage, twice a week, working my way towards three times a week. As to how many sessions that I'll have long term, I don't know. Apparently the pain will decrease, but it's just the first few weeks that are particularly bad.

I've got another session after lunch today.

That's pretty painful, running. I do have to go on the treadmill to do some walking today though. There's one exercise on the pilates machine that I'm going to have to talk to her about though as it caused so much pain that I thought I was going to collapse. See if we can get that one taken off my regimen.

............ you know Trish...

The pain should lessen when your body starts adjusting to the new activity... at least that's what we hope and pray for...

(you can slap me anytime now... )

Happy Thursday NIGHT, Trish!

I hope you are feeling better soon!!!

Well, the exercise that I found so difficult on the pilates machine has been taken off my list. She saw that I was really struggling with that one. In the meantime, she's given me some work with the hip machine. It's ok when you're exercising on it, but when you start walking away from it, oh boy! Oh well.

John had a really bad blood nose the early hours of this morning that just wouldn't stop. I'd been trying to stay up with him, but Joan just kept telling me to go to bed as I was nine tenths asleep anyway. In the end, John decided that he needed to go to the hospital. Joan called one of the neighbours over to take them, as she can't drive the vehicle that we've got. The last thing I heard before I fell asleep was the neighbour calling for an ambulance. I can hear Joan snoring, so I assume they are both home. I don't know any of the details. Will have to find out later.

Joan's just got up. It seems that she left John up in emergency. The ambulance people couldn't get his nose to stop in the hour that they were here. Joan left the hospital at 4am this morning. I'll let you know more when I find out anything.

Hope I don't get a nosebleed, 'cause I'm on blood thinners. It could get ugly uglier.

Trish sez to tell everybody that she can't get into CW. But as soon as she can, she'll be here.

Thanks for the message from Trish, Denny. It's been five days since her last post. Do you know what might've happened with her internet? I wonder how John is doing? (((((Trish, John, Joan)))))

Dunno what the problem is. She was able to e-mail me but can't get on CW. Strange.

Ok, tried one of the other portals that Rach suggested and finally I'm here. YAY!

Internet Explorer has taken a real dislike to me coming here. Every time I get past the opening page to login in, it tells me I've performed an illegal operation and shuts me down. Don't know what to do about it, but maybe I'll just have to use a different portal for a while. As long as I can get here, I'm happy. I was getting really frustrated not being able to come here and spend time with my friends.

As for John, he's still really tired. No more nose bleeds. Don't know what caused it, but as long as it was stopped, they were happy to send him home. He saw his doctor today, and he said that seeing as he doesn't have a history of nosebleeds, he wouldn't worry about it. If it happens again, he'll be sent to and ENT guy. Only blood thinner he's on is aspirin, so he may have to go off that. He still doesn't feel 100%, but he's working on it.

Thursday afternoon is my next session at the gym. I was in so much pain when I got there Tuesday morning that I was told I wasn't going to be doing stretches as it makes fibromyalgia pain worse. So, got some old and new exercises to work on. I've been in so much pain the past few days that I've been in tears. I'm ok when I'm at the gym or not long after leaving. It's that night that I suffer. Doesn't need ice on by then.

One of the elderly ladies from the friendship group isn't well right now. Went and bought her some flowers today and took them over to her to cheer her up. It overwhelmed her.
