Hi Deb. I'll get back to the exercises when I'm feeling better. I've had the flu. Hopefully I can be back at the gym on Thursday and if not, then next week.

Well, thanks! My voice isn't all that great either. It can sound pretty deep at times, but it's not going missing as much as Joan's. Doesn't happen anywhere near the amount that Joan's does.
Planning on going to church in the morning. I haven't been for a couple of weeks, so I'm looking forward to being there again.

Hi everybody. How are you doing? I hope you've all had a good day.
I'm up at the moment because I can't sleep. I've been up for nearly 2 hours, but I think I'll try and head back to bed and warm up again. It's quite cool here at the moment. I'll talk to you all later.
Oh, and happy Father's Day to all the dads and spiritual dads in the US. Father's Day isn't until September for us in Australia.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.
Went to the gym for the first time in 3 weeks today. Sore now, so have taken some painkillers to try and take the edge of things.

Well, at least you felt up to going to the gym, but I'm sorry you got so sore. Did the painkillers help? I really hope you'll find a doctor who will test you for fibromyalgia. If it's something else, fine. But all possibilities should be explored!

I'm really glad that we've got electricity again. Just after dinner, Joan and I sat down to relax in front of the TV, and the next thing we know, there was no electricity. John looked outside, and it was just our house. He checked the fuses and couldn't find anything wrong. When he called the electricity company, apparently it was a fault there.
So, the three of us ended up playing a card game by candlelight. Haven't had to do that for a while. Hopefully it won't happen again in a hurry.

We haven't had a TV since we moved.... I sold it before I came down hoping to buy a better one here....
.... but the $$ kinda ran out.... so we are making due with DVD's played on my laptop....
.... and it's kinda like camping.... because I didn't bring down any furniture either.... we've become quite accustomed to sitting on the floor!!! (Roo Dog thinks it's great! We are right on his level!!  )
