To be honest, I don't know.

..... oooo, we had a pretty watery thunderstorm here, too...
The parking lot here at work floods... I had to go move my car in the middle of it....
I took off my sandals and went barefoot.... the water was up to my ankles!!! 
It was fun....

oooo, that's terrible, Trish! Being poor sure has some ramifications here on this earth... it's bad enough that there is not enough to live decently - but then when something happens.... it's even harder to rise above....

Rach, you can talk here as much as you want. It really doesn't bother me. It could use a little livening up around here. I think I scare everybody off when I keep talking about being in pain etc. Needs some fun in here.
Can't stay and talk tonight though. I've got to get up early this morning to go and get some routine blood tests done. Then some friends are coming over that we haven't seen for quite a while. Then when they go, Joan and I have to cook dinner as we are having friends join us for dinner tonight. (It's the early hours of Friday here). John's spending most of the day in town, as he has a men's meeting that he goes to on Fridays.

Well, we ended up having two lots of visitors today. Some friends of ours from the country came into town, and whilst they were here, they came to see us.
Then we had some other friends over to have dinner with us and watch some GOD TV.
Next Friday night we have a couple more friends coming over for dinner and watch some GOD TV. Unlike in the US, we need a satellite dish to watch Christian TV as we don't have any Christian channels here. We only get one or two Christian programmes a week if we're lucky.

John's going coat shopping on Saturday and wants me to come along. I can usually find things that he can't. I think he's also trying to get me out of the house as it would also have been my parent's 50th wedding anniversary.

DIANE!!! Long time no see!
Today we went shopping. Didn't end up getting John's coat. Too late in the season now. All the summer stuff is coming out in the stores now. Had lunch out. Bought some groceries that were on sale.
We thought we were going to have to take Bailey to the vet. John was out with him this morning and looked like he had a sore ear. By the time we got home, he was fine. Must have just had something irritating it for a while. I'm so glad he's better.
