Right... he's in and out of church.. he's strong for a few months and then he's back out there... he doesn't have steady gainful employment... I mean if I were to take him seriously he wouldn't want to deal with the very real questions that would come... his best bet is to joke it off until he's over it.

They have.. he doesn't get it.

He's such a nice guy.. very real... He actually has a lot to offer the young men... but he won't because he's like well I can't say anything to them because they'll think I'll be gone tomorrow... I told him part of it is to root himself.. be accountable to someone... The youth can have a respect for you because you can relate and actually tell them the bad/hard part about the road theat hey so wanna take... kwim?

They (and I) have also told him its not about him... if he can quit focusing on his shortcomings and letting them keep him back he'll be better off.. he's not hearing it..

You know what??? I have learned that most of the obstacles in our way come from the same place: self.

Most of the difficulties that I have, come from me being unforgiving of myself. (Yeah, I know kinda feeling deep tonight---where's a blog when you need one! LOL!)

The last few days, God has been dealing with me about procrastination. It is one of my pet sins. I make my life more difficult by bowing to the temptation of procrastination.

Anyway, I've seen in my life and others that we get stuck on seeing ourselves as the world see us... or as we see OURSELVES (focusing on shortcomings). And we crowd out the ability to hear the GOOD NEWS of freedom in Jesus.

Really... how many folks bemoan their situation.... saying in as many words that it won't change because of "other folks perceptons"... or their "physical appearance" or their "financial or educational status"... I could go on an on...

Any way... as I said... feeling a little thoughtful and deep tonight. Please forgive the ramble.

Nothing to forgive... its rather sad. I was sitting her thinking too... about so much... even the situation tonight... I don't know... of course I could have handled it better by walking away but I didn't.... I told him the absolute truth because I was attacked for no reason.. but so what you know... anyway..

Ramble on my sister... I may meet you in this deep thought and come back with some deepness of my own.

Hey guys

Just checkin in.. not much to report. Had a long busy day at work and then went to the gym and worked lower body... my sis tried to kill me she had me increase from 2 set tonight to 3 [img]http://www.anchoredbygrace.com/smileys/ick.gif[/img] I don't like her... then we worked abs... I wasn't able to really do my cardio due to this stupid ankle acting up. But it too is healed in Jesus name.. it feels better today though... I've been wearing a wrap/support so... it'd better get ready cause I'm not going to stop working out.

I have a testimony to share

Remember I was saying my paycheck was short? I believed that God was gonna make a way... well I was laying in the bed yesterday watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition - How'd they do that.. and my phone rang... the studio called me to see if I was available to shoot a wedding this Saturday! THEN (since I won't be receiving that check for two weeks after the shoot) He told me that my new camera will be ordered this week.. meaning I'll have my digital by next week... WHICH is when our church formal is and my first lady told me to set up the camera and make some money

He keeps on, doin' great things for me.... If I had ten thousand tongues, Oh I'd praise Him, I'd praise Him with every one...
