I've finally gotten my pallidin's engineering to 370 and my priest's alchemy to 375. Just 5 more points to get the engineering maxed out and hello flying machine.

Then I have to go back and max out the rogue's leather working, and the mage's enchanting and tailoring.

I used to compain about how noisy those flying machines were until one passed me on my regular griffin, well, buzzed me is more like it. It left me in the dust.

Atleast at this point my gnome can engineer a squirrel.

BTW, I agree with this completely. The biggest problem with these games is not the witchcraft but the time element. Another poster brought that up. ANYTHING that takes away the time that should be spent doing the work of God, needs to be rethought, no matter how pretty or ugly it looks at first.

Well FWIW, the WoW servers are down and now CW is distracting me from what I should be doing. : (

Hehehehe- I figured I'd better take the inside jokey stuff here. ; )

LOL! I haven't played enough to know exactly what Dailies are, and haven't looked them up yet. More interested in 2v2's now that my wife is starting to play, not that I know much about that yet either.

Earthless asked in the other thread what server we were on but I'm going to post that here. I'm on Lightninghoof as a 24 shaman which is a Tauren and I have a couple of toons on Lightningsblade which will probably be my Alliance home. I originally started on Lethon in October or so of 2006, but after all that time the server is still LOW population. :X

my husband and I are on Cenarius mostly. we have one toon on a pvp server but we seldom play there, only when Cenarius is down.

2v2 pvp can be brutal. My husband and I tried with a MM hunter and a boomkin and we lost more times than won... ok, we lost lots of times and won just a few. And when we won, we celebrated for atleast a few good solid minutes and drove our sons nuts.

The dailies can be fun once you get to them, and some can be exasperating. It is mostly designed to get you to want to get your epic flying mount. You can do the dailies easier with them and you need the gold from the dailies to afford to buy them. go figure.

M'love and I have lots of pairs of toons and only a few solo toons. We usually play together so my solo toons are lowbies.

My mains are on Terenas. My backups for Terenas being too laggy or offline are Thorium Brotherhood or Velen.

If I didn't all ready have too many pans in the fire, I'd suggest a crosswalk guild on some server somewhere. But I'd be the first one to not be there often.

It would be cool if we ever got to meet in the battlegrounds. I have played with some good teammates but they are on other servers, and after the battle we lose touch. (sigh)

A Crosswalk guild would be way cool! But I agree it would probably be low priority since we have invested so much time in our respective realms. However, if we were to do it, what type of realm would we choose and which faction? I know I would prefer to be an orc hunter. I have never enjoyed PvP servers, but have never attempted to roll a hunter on a PvP server...so, it might be interesting. Whatever the call, I'd be willing to try it.

-OR-

You guys could just roll an alliance toon on Thunderhorn and join the best Christian guild on any realm: Narrow Path. I have a human pally in that guild and it's super active!

I have a horde on a PVP server... but she is a perpetual lowbie. The thing about PVP servers is this: are the factions equal? If in your wanderings do you constantly get out numbered or do you constantly outnumber the other side? I am not sure in Blizzard has done anything to counter that issue but that used to be the problem awhile back.

Thunderhorn, huh? If I rolled there, it would be a low priority toon.

Shout out for my guild, too! Avowry! Not Christian but holds high standards of conduct.

There you have it, another server heard from....

The lastest chatter on our guild was about developing the Death Knight for WoTLK> does it replace a toon? Do you still need to do a level 80 quest to unlock it? etc.

That was something I heard about to. I started as a horde on Lethon but moved to Thunderhoof last summer and now that I play full time my server is full. :( I played a couple months in 2006, a couple months in 2007 and full time now and never once have I seen Lethon's population go up from low. I used this to decide on a server since it seems from what I have read that you have to be careful picking a horde server:

http://www.wowjutsu.com/world/

I just looked for a rppvp server that had good horde presence. Some still complain that there are too many servers with heavy alliance populations but little horde population.

I am on Black Dragon Flight and it is 70% alliance and 30% horde. there is a website you can go to look at the percentages,

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/realmstats.php

you can then choose the server you want and go from there.

thanks for the link c.c.

M'love and I finally started to level up some beginning horde but on our regular server... put them into the sister guild of our alliance side. What can I say, they are a good bunch of folk.

Well, our main server went down. Our pvp server (one toon) was down. So I rerolled a toon on our (one toon) rp server. And ended up in a huge gathering of level ones dancing around killing time and talking stupid to each other (gasp)! This was on the BE starting point on Silverhand. Alot of servers were either down or running poorly so Silverhand became the orphanage, sorta.

Bear in mind, I had already gone for a walk, done chores, read e-mail, etc. Didn't feel like watching t.v. so I worked through the dorkiness and got up a couple of levels.

Anyone else experience Lowbie craziness?

M'love and I were playing our horde toons, tauren's, level 16... the terrible horrible horde... bwahahahaha

And here was some guild conversation, "I'd love to come to the raid but I have 6 loads of laundry to do and then we are going to a movie."

I'm thinking, sheesh, how dangerous is that???? You're horde for pete's sake! Sleep on the sheets dirty!

I guess horde is not so horrible after all.

2.4 is finally out. Now to get the addons to update properly.

My husband was enjoying his insta-pup. (his travel form is now an instant). But I have crusader aura now and our mounted speed is Zoom. Funny watching an epic purple elefant zoom

It should take about a week, depending on the add-on (all I use is auctioneer) for the new editions to drop.

Out of curiosity is anyone here on Dragonblight?
