This is my first time reading any of her books. I read a few things about her and her books after she died last year and thought I might enjoy reading some of her works. So far, I've found it a pleasant read with an interesting plot line. Ed

I didn't know she passed away. That is the only book of hers that I've read.

I'm thinking about going back and reading the Dresden Files series again. Maybe Simon R. Green's Niteside series or Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series. Not sure really.

ORIGINAL: jkdjr25 ... or Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series. Personally, I wouldn't go there. And I read paranormal fiction/urban fantasy, so I'm not talking about a general dislike of the genre itself. Anita gets more and more into "multiple partners" as the series progresses and that's turned off even many of her once loyal readers. I think I picked up one of the middle books of the series a few years ago. Ewww. For a less offesnive read, I suggest Stephenie Meyers Twilight series (usually in the Young Adult section). Or perhaps Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire Mysteries. Although the last one had more objectionable content (not as much as Hamilton's books, but more than the earlier books in the series).
