One of my favorite memories is of my Hubby teaching the twins to ride their bikes. Not an easy task with two. They kept yelling; don't let go! don't let go! All day long. LOL He really was a patient man.
My littlest is like me, no one taught her to ride, she had to figure it out for herself. She decided to do it one day and by afternoon she was racing with the neighbor boy. She does nothing by halves.
The Girl was kind of half way in between. She wants my help until she knows how to do it and then she tells me to get lost. "I'll do it myself"
In fact that was one of the first phrases she spoke "I do".

LOL.
I think the best parent/child relationships are the ones that you learn from each other. Kids can teach us as much as we can teach them sometimes!

Oh it's not the cleanup that bothers me. If she spilled an entire gallon accidently it's no big deal. It's the intentional mess making that gets under my skin (and crawls around leaving a very irritating itch and sometimes even a small surface rash. However if you watch it carefully it looks pretty cool as the bump moves along with it. But anyway, back on track. I hate messes).

The cleaning lady will be here on the 4th or 5th so it will only be the GT mess to clean up. Last time it was no big deal. Most peopel here are pretty civilized.
