Because chance are they someone that went to you high school.

Bedford is a relatively small town (about 20,000) and Michele was within 2 degrees of separation from everyone. We never went out to eat or anywhere without her knowing at least one person there. Welllll, I'm a very picky eater so most of the food in your blog I'd have to be coaxed into trying. (It took Michele almost five years to get me to eat Chinese food.) I have a hard time with eating foods where I can't identify the components. We did the shaved ice. We had something up near Kahuku but I don't recall what it was.

In Jamaica I had curried goat (it was delicious). in the Caymans I tried conch (which was also delicious considering it's just a giant snail) So I would try some things. Most of the time if it doesn't have a sauce I'll at least taste it. If it has a sauce I'll ask what's in the sauce. (I don't do mustard, mayonaise, sour cream or most salad dressings)

Stayed at a little hotel on the north shore called Ambience Jamaica. nice place but miles from everything. So they had a buffet set up with all sorts of food. One of the dishes was small cubes of meat in some sort of sauce or gravy. Very tasty. Both Michele and I loved it but we couldn't figure out what it was. So while she was eating I went and asked the chef. "Curried goat". I think "that's cool". I get back to the table and tell Michele I know what it is. She asks "what is it" as she lifts her fork to her mouth. "curried goat!" The fork goes down, the plate gets pushed away. "I think I'm done" she says. It was so very cute. (I had thirds. it was very good)

When I was in the blue mountians of Jamaica on a mission trip the locals made us green chicken. Is that curry chicken? I can't remember what it tasted like just that I was smiling as I put green chicken in my mouth. It is amazing how much sight affects our taste buds[:D].
