Mississippi Sounds fun....
Man, I was sick with the flu last week, then Mark had it Sat. It seems like a week that I have not gotten good sleep.
I am almost off work, and I am so ready to go home.
How is everyone doing? Are you getting storms? I am in CA, and we had an earthquake last weekend. Not a big one, but we had one. :) Sure beats hurricanes and tropical storms anyday. That is why we pay the big money to live here! LOL!
I am really trying to put my finances and job in God's hands, but man, I am not even getting call backs for my resume. It is so bad out there. I have been temping since Feb. I am just tired and ready to move on with my life, but I can't because I don't have a job. So many things hang on having a job. But God is good and my husband had a great job that won't end. Yeah! But not everyone is that lucky.

It is going to be a rainy weekend here. We will be getting the remnants from Lowell from the Pacific and Ike from the Gulf.

Hey Rach, I really hope that y'all are ok! I read that the city of Houston is literally closed right now. 2 million without power and many months to clean up too! I can only imagine how things are where you are!

Hey Rach
I tried to call you back on Dave's ground line a few times after listening to your voice mail.........but with him not having a answering machine makes it hard to catch you..........I
Since you don't have any electricity I thought I would update folks...........
Rach and the girls are fine. They left home and stayed at Dave's house.
They got rain and high winds but at the time of her voice mail they did not have any flooding.
She was disconnected, no tv, so did not know what was going on in the rest of texas and didn't seem to know her town had been hit pretty bad.
Hopefully she is still at Dave's and did not try to make it back home.
I will try to call Dave's house again tonight and see if I can get an update.
You're in my thoughts Tica.

She sounded happy on the voice mail..........but she also had no clue what happened everywhere else............her home town was on the news quite a bit.........so hopefully she will stay put till the school opens back up for work.

I hope her apartment or house is ok! But the most important thing is she and the girls are safe and happy.
