I'm figuring out stuff in this office a little at a time.... the owner's dogs are keeping me company today....  Two little Shih Tzus with pony tails in their hair! lol!
I went to women's Bible study this morning... it was good.... I had to leave a little early for work...
eta: Oh my goodness!!! I had to edit the dog breed because it looked like I was swearing!!! lololol!!!

Seriously though, Rach, what's the weather there like now? I know it sounds stupid, but I've never been to TX, and I've never been through a hurricane, so I don't have a clue about any of that kind of stuff.

Trish, the weather here is gorgeous.... Highs in the mid 80's (around the 30's C) and lows in the 60's at night (17-19 C).... it's beautiful.... cool breezes... warm sunshine...
If we look really really hard... we can barely see the trees starting to change....
I did a fun thing today - I was in Jasper for the second time trying to get my TX license  (I have to go back again!).... and the girls and I stopped at Walmart... I bought them a 2-man tent to play in... Now they have their own little knook outside! (Living in our apartment has been very cramped and it seems its becoming easier to lose patience with each other.  )
Hurricanes.... are like HUGE THUNDERSTORMS with a lot of wind and rain....
I've gotta wrap things up here... almost time to go!!

Oh, it can get cold....for short spells. We've even had a few ice storms, but they don't last very long. And those don't usually happen til January or February.

A few years ago it snowed at the beach in Galveston on Christmas day. And I won't extend the water pipes outside the house without wrapping them in insulation for fear of them freezing.

The other day it was orange.... now I feel like I've passed the color blind test....
It's October and the weather is in the 80's.... so weird to me!!! I feel like I'm missing out on the leaf burning parties in Indiana!

Today is a good day....
I FINALLY got my TX driver's license!!! I'm feelin' like I need to find a cowboy hat and boots now!
This morning I helped Dave work on the same dock he was working on yesterday... <3... I love the outdoors!
Today, I'm going to send in our registration for the Dallas, TX, prison ministry event (Bill Glass Champions for Life). I'm soooo excited to go!
I'm having prison ministry withdrawls! (It will be even funner because Dave and I are going together! )
Okay.... here is a funny thing. Yesterday... I went home an HOUR late!! My computer is an hour behind... Yes... I've tried correcting the time... but it went back to the 'old time'.... lol! I felt like a doofus. Especially because I have to transfer the phone calls to my boss before I leave for the day... lol!
Okay.... enough of me....
What's up with you guys?

Any God sightings?
