Do you realize what has happened here???
All you wonderful people... holding us up in prayer....
I can't even begin to relay to you some of the incredible things that have happened over the last few days....
This surgery... our lives... have touched SO MANY people with the light of God's love!
I've talked to quite a few people since we checked into the hospital on Tuesday... I was able to tell them about God's unfailing love... about God's blessings...
I feel so humbled and blessed all at the same time...
Now... Dave was moved into a normal room today!! They pulled all of the tubes out of him... he looks so wonderful without them!
He went for a walk down the hallway... he is doing so well!
... and the big news?
He will be released tomorrow!!! 
So many amazing things have happened.... and as I'm thinking back... I think one of the coolest things was how I had the opportunity to tell others about God at every turn...
The next cool thing was how God used this situation to bring my relationships with others closer...
How thankful I am to be part of God's family.... How wonderful that each of you has taken the time to be a significant part of this amazing journey!

Now.... taking care of business.....
NSIE!!!!! Where have you been??!!!! I have been thinking about you for MONTHS!!!!!!

Hi Rach, Praise Jesus that they were able to remove the tumor and aneurysm from Dave! God is awesome! Sounds like a lot of real good things are happening also! I cannot wait to hear more about them!

..... another update:
Last night after I left... Dave had a rough night... the pain increased so much that he experienced intense nauseua and is still feeling that way... he's eaten very little today and is basically suffering through a lot of pain...
The pain is worse for him... he spent many years addicted to all types of drugs... so now, the pain meds do very little for him... his body is very resistant to a normal dose of pain medication...
Morphine lasts long enough to give him a nap....
In all this... he continues to thank the LORD....
I have quietly cried a few tears today... I hate seeing him in so much pain.
Tomorrow - I need to check out of the hotel and head home... I promised to be back at work on Monday and I can't really afford to take off more time without pay...
I'm in contact with people at Dave's church... if he can't go home with me tomorrow... I'm sure someone from his church will come and get him when he is able to travel. They are wonderful like that.... (the hospital is 2+ hours away from his house... 4+ hours away from my house.... and yeah... we are waiting until this thing is over to combine households... )
