Finally, the girls and I visited a new church here... they were actually (almost) eager to go... which was a nice surprise for me...
The church many things going on... there's like 8 buildings there... we decided to attend the more modern service... (no hymnals there!).... it was good. We even went back for the evening service... I had to choke back some tears...
The worship leader was the guy who normally handles the worship for the Spanish building in the church.... it was sooo cool praising the LORD in Spanish.... my Dad would have loved the worship time....
Funny thing is... I think he's in heaven praising the LORD and thinking, "I know my family would love this!"
I'm still lovin' my job ... but it is very frustrating at times for me... it seems I spend 90% of my day looking for stuff. 
My dream job: working for a church....  I'd quit this job in a heartbeat if I could work for a church! 
It's a new week, my friends.... know that you are loved!!!

Rachel, still praying for Dave's healing. I hear ya on wanting a date with hubby. I'd settle for being able to snuggle up beside him right now.

I do have a praise to report: Dave is finding a few moments during each day where he is not experiencing pain... and - he was able to sleep 4 hours straight for the first time in a long time!!!!
Healing is happening!
His next Dr. appt is later in August...
All is well!!

I reminded Dave last night that there are still a few people (probably more than we know) praying for him... His first response was, "Thank you, LORD!" Goodness he blesses my heart....
How goes it in Lisa Land?? Any cool moments to share with us?
Diane... how cool you posted here... I was just thinking the other day that you had a trip to Chicago I totally missed out on!!! Your summer sounds busy... I can't believe we are wrapping up summer and school seems just around the corner!!

I've always been told that the first year of marriage is the roughest... God allows hardships to truly cement the marriage... I'm just tickled pink that I get to help work stuff out with Dave! 
Sharon-Marie! I was watching the news a couple of nights ago.... not really paying attention.... and then they newscaster started talking about Wyoming... and I looked up and he was standing in front of all YOUR horns!!!! I wanted to jump up and down and shout.... but my girls wouldn't've had a clue about what or why I was jumping around.... so I didn't.... (I just jumped around inside my heart instead! )
Thanks for thinkin' of us.... and much like me... I know that statement has a deeper meaning....
I've been thinking of Internet relationships lately.... thinking about how I can choose or not choose to interact and read and remember details about others here....
.... thinking about how I am at fault for paying more attention to my own little world than paying more attention to others....
.... thinking about how life without all my Internet friends would feel.... almost empty.
I'm sooo blessed to be counted as part of the CW family.... this is a wonderful place... filled with such wonderful people.
Ah.... I should be heading to lunch soon... I need to complete some goals for my boss first....

I'm off soon to house-sit (actually kitty sit) for 10 days - and I can't wait - she has a pool and it's in a nice, quiet neighborhood, etc. It's a true blessing right now.

I remember once Joy, K, and I had a girls night out... one of them was house sitting for a medical doctor... it was a VERY nice house!!! I can't even imagine living a life like that.... I wouldn't know what to do with myself.... or all my stuff!  I'm' sooo thankful for the simple life I have!

The girls and I stayed in the pool sooo long last night.... I thought we all looked like prunes!!!! lol! It was good exercise.... we like to play Marco Polo.... why is it that I'm always it????
