Helloooooooooooo Mo! I'm really glad you're starting to get more energy. My father and two of my sisters have arthritis really bad. He had both his knees replaced, and one of my older sisters has had one done and will have to have the other done soon. The sister I live with has a couple of different types of arthritis, including one that there's no real treatment for. When she has really bad flareups she has to take prednisone, which is a steroid. She's also taking something called methyl trexate, which I understand is actually an immune system suppressant.

Mo, I don't have cortisone injections in my back. Just in my shoulder for bursitis.

Helloooooooooooooooooooo every one!
Sorry I haven't posted in a loooooooooooooooooong time. I was gonna log on during New Years week but I had trouble logging on. I'm glad that was taken care of! So here is a little bit of what has been going on with me.
The months of October through December 2007 I was in severe back and neck pain. When ever I used the computer at the desk I could hardly stay on and be able to do anything. Then I have had more cortizone shots and on top of that physcial therapy for 6 weeks. The physical therapy helped a lot as well as the shots. But between all that the holidays came and went. I was starting to feel a lot better and walking straighter. All though I still had trouble sitting at the comptuer causing my back to hurt. Bo was kind enough to let me try his lap top computer to see if I would be able to use and enjoy it. And guess what?! I am able to use it and enjoy it! Now I have taken over Bo's lap top. He seems okay with it. I feel bad though but I can not sit at the desk computer with that chair. Some times I still have trouble sitting on the couch. Sigh. So now I am working on the lap top.
The first 6 weeks of physical therapy got over on Christmas Eve day. I have to constantly keep doing the excercises they gave me becuase if I don't, I get all stiff and start going the back the way I was. I'm still haveing some pain in my neck even though I got shots there too. They are giving me a heavy duty vibrator machine to use on the muscles that is causing me the pain. I haven't gotten it yet. Hopefully this Friday.
Bo is doing good and is constantly busy. I hardly get to see him any more. When I do though it is quality time unless he has to study for a class. He is also starting Weight Watchers again. It will be home bound and not going to the meetings. One thing is there is not a meeting he can get to with his crazy hours and then we don't have the money. We have a web site for the both of us but i'm not sure if I can give the url to the web site out. If any hostees read this would you please answer? Thanks! The first week Bo was on WW he lost 4. 5 pounds! Woooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo! That is also on the website that we have. There are pictures of me and Bo and my family so if I can post the url to the web site I will do or you ask me through the Notes system. Well it is almost time for me to go pick up Bo. THere are still a few things I need to tell you all but I just don't have the time right now. And I am hoping to not be a stranger any more this year!
So that was the last trimester of 2007.
