^^^^^ LOL!! Yep! You should see how they drive too!! They always try to drive in the V formation -- it's just a mess & they tend to forget those traffic rules...

I am sitting here watching my teenagers bopping a balloon with my little. It is so cute. The twins have their music on and they are all dancing and bopping. I don't see them do things like that very often any more. The teens usually think things like this are "lame"

I'm smiling because the big mound of snow that's been outside my patio for what has seemed forever is gone!!!! Yeah! Although, my optimism that spring is finally here is a little guarded. I remember last year about this time we thought winter was finally over and then we were hit all over again and it lasted that way most of April. But...it still is nice to finally see the ground. Yippy skippy!

I went to dd's track meet on Saturday. Did a lot of people watching... It was interesting. Watched children giggle, play in the dirt & on the stands. Watched couples - some ignoring each other and some holding hands... I watched one daddy w/ two young children -- he had the children's backpack on his own back and didn't seem to mind having it on at all (it was a cartoon one) just very comfortable w/ it. It made me smile. Watched parents cheer for their children in the different events.... it made me smile. Watched twin #1 run in her 1500 m... it made me smile. Hugged my twin #1 when she was so disappointed because she was 5th -- she was coming off an injury and hadn't been running all week, she was only 1 sec off last weeks time, so she actually did really well.... she was still so beautiful -- I told her so, and that I was proud of her & that I loved her.... And then we bothed watched as a parent got disappointed & angry because their kid didn't win & didn't get the time that they wanted. It made me sad. But...... big, big smiles because as we watched this happen, dd looked at me & told me something very special: "You know mom, I can't believe that some parents can do that to their kids. The other day, *friend* & I watched a parent telling their kid that they were too slow and could do better.... and I told *friend* that my mama would never do that! She would think I was great no matter what place I was in -- even if I was in last place & everyone had lapped me twice, she would still tell me that she loved me, that I had done a good job and that she was proud of me! You do that every time mom -- if I'm in first or even when I stink, you still say those things! So thank you mama. And I really love you too." (can I cry some more now??) I make mistakes as a mom, but my kids know that I am proud of them and love them!!

are you serious? *grumble, mumble* For me yes.........for most people no........it got up to 56 today but the sun was shinning and it was so nice out that I wish I had worn shorts for walking. The weather is suppose to change today, dropping by 20 or more and bringing tornados etc........... It is suppose to be around 40 for the softball games tomorrow..........no sun, no shorts....... I can't wait to wear sandals again.......or even better to be able to go barefoot. Have fun at the track meet. How have things been going with your ex? Are the children doing ok? It seems like forever since I have spoken with you.

I'm smiling because today was our Right Choice Celebration. We went outside and played kickball. The majority of the students in my homeroom don't know where or who they are a lot of the time.* It was hilarious watching them in the outfield chasing love bugs and daydreaming. LOL! * We created cause and effect books this week. As we were making title pages, I noticed that some of them only wrote the title and forgot to include the author's name (themselves). I reminded them to write down the author's name. One girl raised her hand and asked, "Ms. S, who's the author of my book?"

Reading posts like tlims and John_O's about the cool things they do with their kids makes me smile. And reading posts like Shemas on how she's investing in other people's children makes me smile as well.
