It makes me smile when kids come to my store and get all excited when I run one of the trains.

Actually I can't "slyly" turn them on. There was a little boy in here earlier today with his mom and he spotted the Polar Express train. I could tell he wanted to see it run but was too shy to ask. So I asked if he wanted to watch it.

A quick smile to share...

For her Senior Project, Twin #2 took CNA classes -- one to decide if nursing was what she wanted to go into or not, and two, to have a good way of putting herself through college.

It's an amazing thing to watch your child grow up and become aware of what they want to do with their own life. That's what this CNA class did for her... she is now so excited to be going into nursing! She worried about some of the things, like having to watch an IV being put in, but then when it was happening, she just got so excited & thought wow! she would be able to do that someday! She comes home from her clinicals w/ her eyes dancing, her face glowing and talking a mile a minute -- she gets so excited! She was even able to watch a baby be born -- it was a family from our church & they were very please to have her there! WOW! God is so good!

Tonight was her CNA graduation. Lots of smiles & joy!

I'm smiling because I got to sing in the choir/drama program at church this morning even though I hadn't been able to attend practice for several weeks and hadn't even looked at half of the music. God knew that I needed it!

My sweet daughter performing in the school spring chorus program.

She had a speaking part for 3 different parts of the program and did wonderfully!!
