Hey Veronica each time I see your pic I smile..........I can't wait from it to warm up so I can go to the beach........
It may not be warm today but it is sooooo beautiful. The sky is blue, blue and the sun so bright everything is shinning.......and the colors so vivid.
God surely loves us to create such beauty for our eyes to behold.

Thanks Joy...I took that at the beach in my hometown last weekend. Every time I go over there I always do a drive by. Right on the other side of that lighthouse is the point where the river that goes through town and Lake Huron meet.
And yes, God sure does know how to create beautiful things. I just got back from another town where I had a meeting this morning and it's always such a beautiful drive.
I'm smiling because I got a whole half day away from the phones!

I am so blessed with wonderful people around me.............Two of my co-workers and I were laughing so much.........
You know something which saddens me.........How many Christian's miss out on wonderful relationships because they are so stuck on the them vs us mentality.
We are all created in God's imagine and in non-believers you can still see the imagine of God...........if you look close enough.
I am so thankful God raised me up to see people and gave me a willing heart to let those who do not yet know Christ close enough to see Him in my heart and actions towards them.
Seeing God in those who have yet to realize they are His child makes me smile.

I'm having a rough day - for a number of reasons. The sun isn't shining here, but He is.
Yes, Indiana is a wonderful state, and it is home #2 for me - spending 9 years there between hs and college. Some of my best memories are from living there and spending vacations there.
Home truly IS where the heart is - that's a fact.

I am smiling today because my children came to work with me today. They have watched movies in the library, played games on the extra computer and drawn pictures (yeah, they're 11 and 13, but so goofy sometimes). The church has been empty most of the day except for us. We went out for lunch (don't get to do that often), and it's almost time to go!!!

Good evening everyone........I have the best smile to share tonight.........well actually two.....
The sunset was amazing..........So beautiful and full of life.........
You know when we take the time to watch the sunset it is virtually impossible to not end your night with a huge smile........Is it the beauty or peace of another day ending which generates the smile? I don't know all I know is that as I watch the sky dance with color I can't keep from smiling.
Another thing which is making me smile is I am printing information about a backpacking trail and national forest.........
On the spur of the moment a friend and I decided to hit the road this weekend, driving north and see we end up.........no real plans, no time schedule, no organization.......
The only thing we know for sure is we are taking a tent, sleeping bags, a few clothes and hitting the road.......
I am so excited.........
We are going to have so much fun..........

Oh Joy...that would be cool if you made it up this far...only thing is I'll be heading over to the other side a little later. One of these days we're going to have to meet half way somewhere along the Lake Michigan shore.
Can't wait to hear how your trip went!

Hey Veronica..........the trip was wonderful............It was so nice to be gone and away from everything going on in my every day life........
I took some really neat pictures which are bringing smiles again to my face as I look at them........God's beauty amazes me.
Oh and a really cool thing........I was driving home from my friends house a little sad to back here away from the beauty and peace of the weekend.......
When God gave me the most amazing sunset........in the sunset was a lake and sand cliffs just like we had seen but they were black, grey, red, purple and pink.
Oh and as I was watching the beautiful lake formed by the clouds and the sunset it reflected, one of the clouds formed a shape which resembled a person knelling in prayer.....the beams of light came from the clouds up towards heaven.........it was as though God was saying I heard your prayer Joy and have chosen to give you another sunset over the lake......
I know it sounds silly but that is what it looked like and it was very special and a reminder how no matter where I am as long as I am open to see God's paintings he will show me beauty as beautiful as his creation.

My daughter is with me at work today. I let her use the empty office behind my desk, and she said,"If you need me, I'll be in my office." That made me smile (and LOL).
