What makes is smile is saying, I'm outta here for the long weekend!

Bye all!

And hearing you smile makes us smile.

Have a great one (I'm sure we'll see you here sometime this weekend)

Like now? LOL

Being used to help minister to others makes me smile - a lot!

I got some photos scanned today. That makes me smile. they've been on the desk here for almost a year. (I stole the family albums from my mom last time I went home. Decided to scan them all and get each household a CD with all the pictures on it. I've just been so lacking in motivationlately that I'm not getting anyting accomplished but today I got 8 full pages (out of 15) scanned in and enhanced!!)

That's an important point. We all have future love stories to add. Life is not over until we are home with the Lord (and then it's really just beginning) there is no one so old, or so decrepit or so unattractive that love can't run them down, grab them by the throat, and toss them into their own love story. God never gives up on us. We shouldn't give up on ourselves either.

(btw, Big smiles on me tonight. I got the rest of that album scanned and most of the computer desk cleaned off. I found out it's made of wood!)

That's cool. You're probably smiling 98% of the time then!!

Smiling people make me smile

When your shopping and you see a little one in the stroller and the litle one takes a liking to you and smiles and waves at you, that makes me smile ear to ear and all day long. Then of course I've got to go up and play withteh little one and teach them the most important shopping words. "Buy me toys"

Kids love me. Parents? I'm not quite so sure.

Oh I would say only 75% of the time the rest of the time I am sleeping. Wait unless I smile when I sleep..........hmmmmmmm I wonder if I do. I will have to ask gilbert tonight.

Speaking of children and shopping yesterday I was working on the supper menu for the house. For some reason I couldn't decide what to make so I asked the girls to each take a night and they got to plan the menu. One by one they sat by me in the chair and we discussed the menu. They did a great job except the youngest (3) wanted bread and butter sandwishes, chippies and dippey, icecream, rootbeer ........it was so funny. She looked so serious. I tried to convince her maybe we could have ham or turkey to put in the sandwiches but she was determind on her night she wanted to serve bread and butter........I did get her to agree to a salad and green beans........The girls make me smile .......huge smile even thinking about them.

PS my father and sister decided they each wanted a night so I agreed. My father smiled and said he wanted breaded, fried in oil ,bone in, pork chops with mash potatoes and gravy........he tricked me into telling him he could have a night because he knew I would not make greasy porkchops..........he knows it is not healthy for him.............My father makes me smile even when he is sneaky

That is all just too sweet.

The girl ALWAYS chooses Macaroni and Cheese and hotdogs. (will she ever get tired of this?)

Neat on your dad. Remember, age and cunning will defeat youth and talent every time!

~ * ~

Little kids make me smile... I seem to catch the eye of many babies.... I think it's my hair.... at first they just seem to stare at me... and then when I think all hope is lost... they break into a smile..... especially if I smile first.... really really makes my moment!!!

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm wollen mittens
brown paper packages tied with string
these are a few of my favorite things..........

when the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad, I just remember my favorite thingsss.......and then I don't feel soooooo bad.

Think up new verses by inserting your own favorite things.........

Or just hang around crosswalk for a while........trust me this silly people will make you smile
