Amen! I would love to see third parties involved in the presidential debates.

Thanks to GWB, I am voting libertarian.

I have reservations about a man who cares nothing about protecting our borders. I think he likes cheap labor.

I feel queasy when I see a President (Yale educated!) that is incapable of articulating the rationale for the Iraq invasion. I am sick of hearing about the dangers of "NUCULER" weapons and "evildoers".

I disagree, my belief is that they would both have been equally bad but in different ways. Honestly, it was a hard election (thank God for the third parties lol)

Dear Mr. Bush, I am calling upon the Lord so that you show mercy as the True Christian you say you are to those calling and emailing you right now that are in distress. Read those emails and letters sent this week and last week to you personally.

May God Be With You and lead you to the right ones. In Jesus Christ precious name I pray

Haven't heard that Bush actually reads the crosswalk forums.

I will second that! I voted for Bush, but have beenextremely disappointed. He has done nothing about the borders and pushed until he got CAFTA approved by 2 votes. He likes cheap labor and the big businesses that benefit from it. These same businesses, of course, that finance his political career. I am also seriously considering voting libertarian.

nikomie....as an American, I like it when our businesses are prospering; it means economic growth and jobs for Americans too. And we all like products that are inexpensive. We go where we can get the best "deal".

Our citizens would really have a reason to blast him if he was not pro-business, inflation was going through the roof, and the jobless rate was up; which it isn't. I just heard more good economic news this morning.

My only complaint is the border issue and I think he's going to come around and soon.

"My trip to Asia begins here in Japan for an important reason. It begins here because for a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times. From that alliance has come an era of peace in the Pacific." -George W. Bush, who apparently forgot about a little something called World War II, Tokyo, Feb. 18, 2002

"We've tripled the amount of money - I believe it's from $50 million up to $195 million available." -George W. Bush, Lima, Peru, March 23, 2002

"Sometimes when I sleep at night I think of (Dr. Seuss's) 'Hop on Pop.'" -George W. Bush, in a speech about childhood education, Washington, D.C., April 2, 2002 (http://www.lifeisajoke.com/politics22_html.htm)

A president who dreams about "Hop on Pop," and can't add has an electorate that voted him in for a second term - only in America!

To the few who wrote positive posts concerning the Libertarian Party, I would like to thank you for those. We, the Libertarian Party need all the votes that we can get inorder to win the fight to save liberty and turn this nation from a totalitarian government back to a Constitutional Republic, as originally planned.

The Libertarian Party along with other third parties (Green, Socialist, Constitution) are constantly fighting to get our voice at the Presidential debates. I personally believe that the American people are being cheated when they don't get to hear from all Presidential candidates. If the Democrats and Republicans can debate each other, then the other third have the right to do the same. The Constitution does not limit the ability to become President to any paticular party. If the Democrats and Republicans actually paid attention to the Constitution and of what it says about freedom of speech then things "might " be better. The Democrats and Republicans bring disgrace to the American political system by not allowing all parties to be involved. We are not just a two party country. We are only a country where the other two parties are monsters and want to tear down the walls of liberty.

I would love to see Third parties (and fourth and fifth for that matter) have an increased opportunity to enter the national debate and elections. The quality of most of the candidates in recent times has been terrible. I think one of the problems is that they always shoot for the Prsidency and don't work on getting a solid foundation in lower levels of government like Congress

As far as President Bush goes I believe he is a sincere god seeking man. I like him as a person but not as a President. I was very disappointed when the far right wing guys in his administration stayed and people that provided balance like Colin Powell left. I'm not a fan of Cheney, Rove or Rumsfeld. I think they harbor a far right wing agenda that's out of the mainstream.

His performance has been mixed at best. On the plus side he was a stabilizing force after 9/11. The economy hasn't been great but it could've been a lot worse. He has stood firm in regard to the moral issues he has strong beliefs about. On the downside is that he blew the goodwill of the world to fight an ill planned war in Iraq for reasons that have been proven false. I think the capture of Hussein, the defeat of the Iraqi forces (as opposed to the insurrectionists and terrorists) and the elections have been positive achievements. But the loss of life on both sides has been unacceptable and probably avoidable if the right wingnuts (Rumsfeld, Cheney) hadn't convinced Bush to go in ASAP and instead tried to shore up more support from other countries or at least took more time to plan how to handle the aftermath. The Abu Graid (sp?) and Gitmo situations are also unacceptable for America Rumsfeld should be gone but Bush is loyal to a fault.

Conclusion: Good man. not so good President.

I don't know if anyone else notices this, so let me point it out.

Watch these threads. Read people's replies. Do you notice how strictly divided everyone is? Even among Christians? Bush's policies either embrace you completely or push you away. There is not much middle ground with him. If a president cannot be agreeable enough to represent his entire population instead of his yes-men, I do not feel he deserves to be in the White House. Period.
Rest assured, if the next president is Democratic, my views will not change. I will still expect a more middle-of-the-road view from him as well.

I agree! Instead of "debating" prescription drugs for retirees and whether to spend $450 B on Medicare vs $455B, let's look at the growth of the almighty state. Let's look at the trade deficit with China, the problems with Fannie Mae, the increasing energy costs, the growing number of jobs "outsourced" to India and China. We should discuss the porous border to the south and illegal immigration's costs.

But then again, the Bush dynasty is on an empire-building quest. He wants cheap labor for his donors. He wants to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. He wants Burger Kings in Bagdad, a Hobees in Hamas, a Dairy Queen in Darfur, and a Walmart among the Wahabbists

I don't know about that. The American people haven't proven themselves to be all that bright recently anyway. It's my opinion that America was bright enough to be fooled into voting for somebody they thought would be a good president, but hadn't done enough research to realize that they were wrong.

America collectively, or just the people who didn't vote the way you did?

As far as Bush... he would not meet all my criteria of a great president by a long shot. But, what was the alternative? Let's get down to one thought... would you really like Teresa Heinz in the White House? She should scare the daylights out of anybody!

Since W cannot run again, lets just be thankful Jeb is not going to run!

I'm not even an american and I know that both Bush, Kerry and many of Bush's admin. are Skull & Bones members - bonesmen.

Does anyone here know this or have none of you ever heard these things --> that bush readily admits to.

His grandfather Prescott, financed the nazis AND the russians in WWII, his father george Sr. is also a bonesmen.

This secretive society is very un-christian t o say the best about them.

Look it up - google it.

They are all corrupt to the bone and these guys run your nation.

Or do american christians pretend this isn't true ?
