Welcome, Everstudy.

Would you like to tell us something about yourself?

Come to think of it, I really only know those of you from Crosswalk where I've been hanging out off and on for the past six years or so.

For the rest of you, you can guess my name. I've spent a good deal of time overseas as a missionary, married with three kids -- two bio, one adopted from Romania.

I attend a PCA church wcpca.org

So HI everyone!

Wow, Gang....

Is it just me, or has the amount of unorthodox material on the forum increased significantly since the merge? It's been discouraging lately to see all the relativistic, athiestic, worldly stuff being posted here. It gives me the creeps.

Have I just failed to notice before or what?

I can see getting bummed out over someone's doctrinal beliefs, but to get bummed out because Christians simply wanna talk and make jokes? No wonder I get depressed.
Jesus enjoyed a good laff! I truly believe that. God has a sense of humor!
Look in the mirror sometime!

OK back to conversing with Euty's invisible friend.

Eddie, I agree too. It's been noticeable on the few threads I've been participating in.

Let's not complain about it too much but try to look at it as an opportunity to show Christ-likeness and perhaps even present the gospel.

Mind if I join in? This sounds like a safe place to make some friends.

After some reading and a little historical research I am wading into the waters of reformed theology with a sense of discovery and respect. I struggle with some of the doctrinal theology and don't understand all of the banter quite, but if you are tender with my heart, I'm willing to learn more and give what I can.

Sounds like a good deal. We could probably all say the same. Anyone claiming to have all the answers ?

hmmm from the echo, I think not.

Welcome, Doveflight!

Be sure to pick up some body armor on your way to the predestination threads. It's gotten a lot more heated over the last couple of weeks. Insults fly faster than scripture references these days.
