How long have you been posting/lurking?: i use to post i think in 2002? just now rejoined :)
What do you enjoy doing?: a lot!! working out (just started) piano, eating! movies, music...ect..
Tell us a little about yourself: well i'm 23...so i'm a baby <3 I'm still learning so much and sometimes the hard way! I work a normal 8-5 job but i plan to start school again this fall. I'm very excited! i have so many high hopes and dreams! I'm still looking for a "home church" and its a lot harder than i thought! i had a home church for years but the pastor recently stepped down and now everyone is gone and there are new people, doesn't feel like "home" anymore :( I'm a single mom and my son just turned 5! He is so smart and i'm so proud to be his mommy! he has the craziest sense of humor! i love it! I'm also single and I don't really care to date right now. I just want friends, friends, and more friends! I feel like God has some (a lot) of work to do with me before i can date. I feel like i'm on the road to finding "myself" and i'm really excited about what God has in store for me....

Hello,
I've just joined these forums today - found this site a few weeks ago and have been chatting here and there. I signed up to - "reach out and touch someone". My last child is about to leave the nest and I'm looking for other outlets of communication. I don't even know if this will be read, but I posted it anyway.

Hello.
I live in the Maryland area. I have been lurking for a while, but am new to posting in general.
I love to sing! I sing with the National Christian Choir and direct the adults & the children choirs at my own church. It keeps me pretty busy on top of working two jobs and going to school part time.
I tend to be serious, but do have a "playful" side. I am definately more comfortable with a one on one setting than I am in a group of people. I tend to be pretty quiet when I am with a group of people, especially if I do not know them.

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm going to be 44 this Friday. I am an admin. assistant at an international company. I've been in that job for 15 years. I do not like gardening, in fact I might get rid of my flowers and bushes in the front yard and replace them with grass - I am tired of fighting with weeds. I'm french but have been in the US for 22 years. I've been single again for 4 years now. I have three kids. The older one is getting ready to go in the Marines, the second one wants to be a biologist, the third one doesn't know yet. I volunteer at my kids' High School on my Fridays off to give french lessons. I participate in the outreach ministry at my church. I'd like to study to become a Sonographer, but there are no schools nearby that offer this program.

I love soccer, working on my online TCGs (I run two), reading & watching TV online. Recently I've become hugely interested in exploring my religion much more deeply than ever before.
Tell us a little about yourself:
I'm 24, still in school and living at home with my parents. I've been single for 3 years after breaking off an engagement. I very much want children sometime in future so hope that one day I will meet the right guy for me but at present I'm not looking. Although that doesn't stop me from having moments of panic where I think, 'Oh goodness I'm never going to meet anyone'.
I often feel quite paranoid about being a happy singleton so discovering this forum has delighted me.
