I haven't seen them since July 2006, but I am hoping when I go to the Smokies in July that my parents will allow me to go to their singing about an hour away from Gatlinburg, TN. Every now and then if artists are passing through this area a country church I have been too will invite them to come, maybe the Hoppers will come back through here some day.

Does anyone know anything about Shannon Parker, she traveled with them for a while after her husband was killed, and they had her in several pictures on the site and then she kind of disappeared.

I guess Connie's show is having success, there are photos posted on their site of their recent taping. Does anyone know if you can find her show on the internet anywhere?

I still have that video somewhere. I believe it was recorded sometime in 1992/1993. It featured music from their Mention My Name recording.

Shannon Parker was a part of the Parker Trio from Canada, and after her husband died in 2006 she traveled with the Hoppers for a while, and from what I heard she and Mike dated for a time, and then she kinda disappeared.

I'm new on here and I"m thrilled to have found you guys! I love Kim Hopper. I have been to every concert up this way (Michigan) they come too! She is so sweet and down to earth. She's been my favorite singer since she sang with her brothers Tony and Tim. I vote every year for her to win the Saprano award and favorite female singer..

Don't get confused. The Shannan Parker (female) was Warren Parker's wife. He was killed a few years ago when a drunk driver hit him, pinning him against their tour bus. She is a friend of The Hoppers, and they 'took her under their wing', so to speak directly after Warren's death. I always thought that she an d Mike Hopper would make a sweet couple!

Shannon Childress (male) was The Hoppers piano player for a long time in the late 80s & early 90s. He was a great musician and songwriter. He is in the video clip that Jeff2006 shared with us.

I wonder what the next single is from "The Ride" I think it will be "Grace Will Always Greater than Sin" or "My Only Option"

"Grace Will Always Be Greater Than Sin" would be a particularly nice single.

I choose Grace Will Always Be Greater Than Sing, or God Already Knew.

I'm sorry, hopperfan, but they didn't. But they DID get to sing with Jeff & Sheri Easter, and Karen Peck & New River.

Has anyone ever been to the singing at Jackson, TN in July? My family and I are thinking about going on July 18th to see the Hoppers. We had plans to go last year, but things didn't work out. I was wondering how everyone thought it was.

I really love and most of all respect The Hoppers for their dedication to ministry in the SG industry. In the earlier years, The Hoppers were known for helping new artists get their break into SG. Can you name some of today's well-known artists that once was a Hopper member?
