Something that doesn't require heat.

Burgers or cheddarwurst on the grill, I'm thinking.

Canadian London Broil, and potatoes, green beans and carrots all on the grill

eta... Around here, a hobo dinner is various veggies (potatoes, carrots etc) with ground beef all wrapped up in foil and cooked on an open fire, or the bbq

The kids and I are at the in-laws for the week, so I'm cooking here. Last night was kabobs on the grill (with chicken, shrimp, zucchini, yellow squash, onion, bell pepper and Carribbean jerk glaze), roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden. MMMMMMMMMM!

Tonight I'm making a chicken salad since it will just be MIL and I.

That sounds wonderful, Rachel.

I decided on ravioli with marinara since I will be alone. I can't figure out why, but dh hates ravioli and tortellini.

I decided against tuna casserole. I'll BBQ some burgers instead (even though it's hot and humid and probably really buggy out there).
