Funny thing is... we will never know how the small amount of time we took with them will impact them for the rest of their lives.... Once in a while... God gives us a glimpse... but often... we don't know...

Thanks Slushie. We're still praying about what to do. We both like being parents and have such burdens for foster kids, so we'll see what the Lord has in store. I have to finish school first, so we have time to consider it.

Never hearing from somebody does not bother me unless I know I a chance of running into them...seeing them again.

Yeah but...that's the thing. Often they promise to come back or to attend a service or counseling or some other function. Sometimes they do, but more often they won't follow through...so you never know for sure.
