Please pray for all of the groups traveling. I know that Soul'd Out Qt is haveing problems with their motorhome, that they travel in, this week-end. I'm sure the other need our prayers to keep them & their families safe.

I'm praying for all of the above requests.

Guess I should give you an update. I went to the Dr. on Thursday and he said I have bronchitis. So at least it's not upper respritory flu! Gotta watch bronchitis though, it can turn into pneumonia.

I found the receipt!!! How it got where it was, I'm not sure but I'm thankful that it wasn't lost! This was for a lunch for my entire department so it wasn't a really small bill and I would hate to be out of pocket for it (I might have had to skip some concerts!

I receivEd a phone call tonight from Mike Presnell (former Bass singer with Perfect Heart) asking for prayer for his daughter Leisa. They have found a knot on her leg and doctors are not sure what it is. She will be going to an orthapaedic surgeon the first of the week to have this checked out further, possibly having a biopsy. So please pray that the Dr. visit will determine what the problem is and it can be taken care of. Thank you and God Bless.

I ask that you guys say a prayer for our group. I just found out that one of our members quit today after our singing. If you could keep us in prayer so that God will lead us to where we need to go. Thanks!

I received a call from Mike Presnell with an update about his daughter Alisha that has a knot on her leg that Dr's told her was growing from the bone. She went to orthopaedic Dr. today and upon examining and tests he determined it was not growing from the bone and was just fatty tissue. Mike was praising Jesus that is was not as bad as first diagnosed. He said we have a mighty God and the prayers for Alisha took care of the problem. Dr. does not want to see her again for six months.
Thank you Lord.

This is a prayer request and a praise. First the praise - Jim & Shelly Dinsmore are missionaries to Guatamala, besides being in a very dangerous place, they were on the verge of being asked to leave their village because they by laws of the council said no one could establish religion in the village. On Sunday Jim was asked to come before the council - while the man who was trying to have them removed brought out item after item of why they should be asked to leave, Jim stuck to his guns (not literally) and kept telling the council that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ wasn't a religion, it was a relationship.

At first they told them he would have to leave the village until June and they they could be asked to reconsider. As the dialog continued the council decided they would leave things as they were (Jim & Shelley could stay) but that Jim would need to come to every council meeting to answer any questions anyone might have. PTL, this means at most council meetings he will have the opportunity to share the gospel with the leaders of the village!

Please pray for this sweet young couple that God will open the hearts of the council and others in the village. Also pray for their protection as guerillas often come to the village, drinking and shooting off their machine guns, it is a very dangerous place.

I'll be praying for the other requests!

Hey Everyone. I come tonight with two prayer request. Our family has been hit hard for a while now, seems like just one things after another. First off though. Monday my father, Stanley had surgery on his lower left leg on a wound that hasn't healed in a couple years that have baffled doctors. Hes doing great, still in the Hospital in Boaz, Al. They can't sendhim home till a wound vac for his leg comes in. Should have already been here, however hasn't came yet. The doctor doesnt know if this will work however, and if not, the next step is a hiperbaric chamber(hope I spelled that Right), then if that doesnt, they must amputate the lower leg. Please be in prayer for that. Next, around 2:30 wednesday afternoon, I got a call that my little cousin, who is around 8 years old, had gotten burned from his stomach up to his chin. They called for MedFlight Helicopter from Huntsville,Al to fly him from the scene to Childrens Hospital in Birmingham,Al. They are saying its second degree burns all over, and they think some places may be third degree. Him and his father, Rev. Michael Dollar, were burning some rubbish when the bottle of fluid Michael was useing caught on fire. He was unaware his son had moved, and when he threw the bottle, the fire and liquid got on him, setting his upper body clothing on fire. Bro. Michael is taking it very hard and placeing the blame upon himself, and is having a rough time with this. They say his injuries arent life threatening, but he will have a long healing process. I ask you please pray for Bro. Michael for Comfort, and For Issac for healing and comfort in this time. Thanks so much everyone.

I have 2 prayer requests for friends from our church. Please remember them in your prayers:

From Carol Lawrence:
Thought I would update you on Wayne's situation. He has been put on complete inactivity for 3 weeks (only bathroom and table privileges). He is on 2 blood thinners - 1 of them injectible that we do at home. He has to have his blood tested every 1 to 2 days at this point. They are very concerned that the clot will break loose and travel to another part of his body and cause some really severe problems. We are just praying that it will dissolve and go away. Please keep him on your prayer list for the immediate future. I will let you know if anything changes.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers. We know the Lord is in control and your prayers make a difference.
Love, Carol
(Note from Santa: We are in same Sunday school class with Wayne and Carol and go out to eat often together after church as well as to Gospel Music concerts and have vacationed together. Sweet people. Please remember Wayne and Carol during this time.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maggie Fox called Mrs. C. this morning and said she has been diagnosed with Arteritis. (That is the correct spelling.) Her doctors have her on meds that are helping with the problems this causes. (weakness, falling, lack of energy, just to name a few.) She has to have her blood tested every 2 weeks to ekkp her meds regulated. Please pray for this Godly lady and our friend.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Severe weather in lots of areas and headed our way. Pray for safety for all in the areas of the storms. Thanks. Santa

I have a friend who is in the advanced stages of ALS (Lou Gerrick's disease). She can't speak and is wheelchair bound. Her primary caregiver, her husband Dean, had a cardiac cath and they found that all of his arteries are more than 80% blocked. They wouldn't even let him leave the hospital after his cath. He is scheduled to have bypass surgery early this week. Please keep this dear family in your prayers.

WOW! The last couple of days, the requests have been heart-rending. I have prayed for each of these requests and am confident that God is in control of each of the lives of those listed here.

Some have asked about my daughter, Jessica. She has been home from Remuda Ranch (Christian treatment facility in AZ for anorexia) for just over two weeks. She is much healthier than the waif I took there in December, but she is still far short of the weight or commitment to recovery she needs to be out of the woods. We have an aggressive outpatient regimen of counseling and nutritional therapy set up, and she is re-applying to LSU and looking for a job. But this is a long process with no assurance of positive results.

We know God is in control, but still we are torn between disappointment that she is not further along toward recovery and optimism that she now has a fighting chance. We are trying to be supportive without being enabling, loving without smothering, and encouraging without controlling. It is not easy and I am not sure we are getting it exactly right.

Thank you for asking. Please say a prayer for her/us once in awhile.

Mark

Mark I have been praying for all of your family. It is so hard to know what to do or say when you are dealing with a problem like this. May God touch all of you with grace and His healing hand. God bless.

This was entered by Paul Jackson on the Prophets thread:

Please pray for my wife, Kathy. She is having an out-patient surgery this morning in Little Rock. It was unexpected and urgent. Has required me to postpone my Prophets' TV planning meeting with Eddie Crook...one more time. Last week it was the tornado that hit our church. This weekend, both my wife of 35 years and our Rottweiler of 11 years, have had physical emergencies with which to deal.

Please pray for me today - I fell down a flight of stairs at work this morning. I managed to twist both ankles and I think I may have broken my big toe. I also hit my hip and ribs hard on the right side and skinned my knee pretty bad. To say it is painful is a bit of an understatement.

The good news is the bowl of grape salad and the shower gift I was carrying all stayed intact!
