Feeling tired and sore. Had the gym at noon. She got me on the cross trainer for the first time and I just about passed out. She kept telling me how pale I was looking. Had a funeral this afternoon.

Hi Darcy! Hi Denny! (((((all the rest of you wahoo's out there  )))))
I think some time back in the distant past, I may have mentioned that we have several problems with our house, foremost on that list: A very leaky roof which has damaged some of the interior ceiling in our dining room and laundry room.
Beth and I were told by a member of our church's pastoral staff that, assuming the finances could be worked out, the church was going to replace our roof!  
Today, our Senior Pastor's going to be coming by (prior to ministry, he worked in construction and still likes to "keep his hand in") and we are going to shoot a little video showing why the roof needs fixing. This, Walt figures, is also going to give this project a "face" for the board members and for others that he's going to approach either about helping with financing or about donating materials. Its a good thing I have my education in communications, because Walt wants to have ME in it speaking about how long we've lived here, what we went through to get here etc.
While he's stated more than once that some points of the finances on this are a little 'iffy' he also wants me to make out a wish list of other projects that need worked on, on the off chance they could get other things done!
Also during all this, since there's going to be a pretty fair amount of plaster dust while they're working, the church is going to put us up for a night in a hotel so we're not snuffling dust all night. So it will also be a little mini-vacation in the process!
