If you want to go about 5 hours away you could go to Martinsville. VA for the Hoppers concert tonight. It is always a good concert. I'm trying to decide is I want to go to that one or the one tomorrow night in Radford. Both will take about the same driving time.

I just finished making a large container of slaw for our Sunday School Class Picnic this afternoon. I decided that if I wasn't gonna get any slaw tomorrow night that I would just have some today. We're gonna have a cookout, hamburgers, hot dogs and all the stuff that goes along with them.

I'm gettin ready to head out for the Singing in the Foothills!!! I just know its going to be a grand time! I can't wait to get the new Gold City CD, i'll have it to listen to on my way to Gainesville, GA tomorrow night:) Don't be jealous now!!

I plan on attending a concert in Benson NC on July 12th at 7pm. It will be held at Friendly Chapel Church. For info or directions the contact number is 919-820-0229, i think....lol
It will feature the DIXIE MELODY BOYS!!!!! As well as a great regional quartet called ARISE...(the baritone singer is Ivan Parkers brother and the tenor singer is Ivans nephew...) and also a regional father-daughter duet, the Rivenbarks.
ITS FREE admission....with a love offering....

I think I have changed my mind & will go to Christianburg, VA & see the Inspriations tonight. Very seldem do I have to chose between 2 great groups.
Santa if you want to come it would be a 4 hour drive for you.
