We are gearing up for “Christian Music Nights”, our 7th Annual Homecoming, July 25th & 26th. Our special guests on Friday night will be the talented Jeff and Sheri Easter. The Diplomats and the New River Band will be the featured artists on Saturday night. KPNR and will be performing both nights. A Mass Choir led by the talented Jim Cox, from Cumming, GA, will be featured both nights. Devin McGlamery will be hosting a Youth Night, “Encore”, directly following the concert on Friday night. The service will consist of Praise and Worship Music, a quick devotional, fun and games.
Okay ya’ll, pack your bags and come to our place. We are going to have a ball! Don't forget your lawn chairs and come hungry for the great home cooking!

Hey anyone going to the 8/2/08 concert in Sevierville with Gold City, the Crist Family and The Talley Trio? I know that's Jason's last night with Greater Vision but I figure those tix are gone and I just found out that we are heading to TN that weekend.

See ya'll in Smyrna. Think we are only gonna be there Mon., Tues., & Wed. We had planned on staying all week but we've been gone so much we need a little time at home. Got bad decision to make about the 20th. We would like for those of you close to Marietta, GA to come sing with us at Harmony Grove Baptist Church on Shallowford Rd. this Sunday, the 20th for homecoming services from 10.30 until appx 1:00 pm. Then we will eat.

Getting excited about attending the Brumley Singing in Lebanon, MO, August 6-9th. This will be my 3rd year to attend and it is a great event. My brother flies in from Washington state and we drive up there. He gets very few groups out his way, so this is quite a treat for him. We will see our favorite group The Perry's, then looking forward to seeing Gold City, Karen Peck and New River, The Easter's (with a matinee of the Lewis and Easter families), the Lesters, Inspirations, Mark Trammel Trio, The Isaac's, Primitive Quartet, Gospel Enforcer's, The Blackwood Bros., I know there are more, can't think of them right now. Anyhoo, it will be a great 4 nights of concerts. I'm taking cushions this year!!!!

Thursday's coming. Triumphant Quartet at Top of River in Gadsden, AL.
If you ain't never went there and live in close enough you ought to go. The food is great. You order whatever you want to eat off the menu. Eat and Fellowship then you hear some of the Best. Thursday night you will hear the BEST in Southern Gospel Music with Triumphant Quartet. Better get there early. Resturant doors open at 5:00 pm (cst) and the singing is in the same room as the eating. Can't wait to get into one of those seafood platters which is big enough for two.

I plan on attending the Singing Echoes outdoor singing in Cleveland, TN. on Friday night July 18th. Singers are Singing Cookes, Primitive Quartet, Inspirations, Wilma Smith and the Singing Echoes. It's been a while since I've been to a singing. Maybe this will give me the desire to go to more of them.
